Review: Red Dirt Heart by N.R. Walker

                                                                Description:
Welcome to Sutton Station: One of the world’s largest working farms in the middle of Australia – where if the animals and heat don’t kill you first, your heart just might. Charlie Sutton runs Sutton Station the only way he knows how; the way his father did before him. Determined to keep his head down and his heart in check, Charlie swears the red dirt that surrounds him – isolates him – runs through his veins. American agronomy student Travis Craig arrives at Sutton Station to see how farmers make a living from one of the harshest environments on earth. But it’s not the barren, brutal and totally beautiful landscapes that capture him so completely. It’s the man with the red dirt heart.

                                                          My opinion:
Charlie owned a ranch and every year they had someone from another country for a few weeks to learn how a farm works. This year came Travis a cute young American who studied agronomy. He was nice and polite to everyone, Charlie liked him very much.He showed him around, talked about work. He was there only one day and Charlie couldn't get him out of his mind although he was trying hard to find reason to keep the relationship professional since he was only a visitor.Ma was trying to play matchmaker with Charlie and Travis. Lucky For Charlie Travis made the first move and they agreed that the day they would be professionals and the night they could play.Charlie could be happy and carefree with him, he was having
the best time of his life. When Travis went missing Charlie panicked and didn't stop looking for him.Travis was smart and they were able to find him. When Charlie's staff found out that he's gay he run just like when he was 18.He realised how much he loved him and when he went back home he asked him to stay.

It's a very romantic story. I really liked it. Well written, the description of the sceneries is amazing.
I loved how happy was Charlie with Travis and that at the end was brave enough to accept that he had a chance to live a happy life with a partner.Even though his dad's words were holding him back, with Travis and his "family's" help he was ready to move on.
