Despite their rowdy hookups, Harlow and Finn don’t even like each other...which would explain why their marriage lasted only twelve hours. He needs to be in charge and takes whatever he wants. She lives by the Want-something-done? Do-it-yourself mantra. Maybe she’s too similar to the rugged fisherman—or just what he needs.
My opinion:
Finn Roberts was the only man who made Harlow come multiple times, he's also her ex-husband of twelve hours in Vegas. After a few months she met him again at a coffee shop by accident. But she's been angry with him since the last time they were together. When Harlow found out about her mom's illness she was very sad and was in need of a little distraction according to her dad. For her, the distraction would be Finn. After a mind blowing sex session she wasn't sure if being with Finn was a good idea. They were starting knowing each other and bonding over their problems. Then came the moment where they realised they wanted something more than just sex.Both Finn and Harlow were people who were used to find solutions to problems,so when she tried to find a solution to his problem without telling him he was very upset and hurt. It nearly destroyed everything they had. Surprisingly Harlow made the first move, she went and apologised,they talked and then everything were better then it used to be.
I enjoyed this story very much. This story isn't as life changing as it was the first book of this series, this one concentrates in specific moments of Finn and Harlow's life. We get to know the two main characters more. They are so much alike. I liked that we saw the other characters as well. There's also lots lots of sex, intense mind blowing sex.
