Play (A Stage Dive book #2) by Kylie Scott

                                                                Description:
Mal Ericson, drummer for the world famous rock band Stage Dive, needs to clean up his image fast—at least for a little while. Having a good girl on his arm should do the job just fine. Mal doesn’t plan on this temporary fix becoming permanent, but he didn’t count on finding the one right girl.
Anne Rollins never thought she’d ever meet the rock god who plastered her teenage bedroom walls—especially not under these circumstances. Anne has money problems. Big ones. But being paid to play the pretend girlfriend to a wild life-of-the-party drummer couldn’t end well. No matter how hot he is. Or could it?

                                           My opinion:
Anne had money problems since her friend bailed on her and never gave her the money she lend her. She was sad and Lauren, her neighbour, invited her to Ev's
party. She went and there she met Mal, the drummer of the band. Mal loved to tease her, he was funny and made everyone laugh that night. When he was drunk and partied he said a few things, Anne thought he was joking. The next day she realised he wasn't, he moved in with her cause now she was his girlfriend, Anne had no idea how that happened. Later he made a "business proposal" to her, he'd pay her to be his girlfriend. She needed the money so she accepted. There was a big problem, Mal was acting very weird and he refused to talk about it. While being in this fake relationship Anne saw many sides of Mal. He was confusing her, one moment he was acting like a man in love the next like she meant nothing to him. They had some good moments but Mal wasn't so good when shit happened, he bailed on her too many times. It was hard for them being together like that since none of them had any experience in that field. But they did love each other and they both tried hard to succeed.

Such a sweet story... The Stage Dive series is wonderful so far. Very romantic, funny and sexy. I'm glad we got to know Mal's character, he was my favourite
in the first book. Always the funny guy who made everyone laugh, i hated watch him being sad. Anne was a very responsible and caring person, she was also

the one who fought for their relationship the most. Ev changed alot, in a good way, she was more confident now.

My favourite lines:
1)“Maybe for you,” Mal scoffed. “I just call out my own name during sex.”

2)“Yeah. He’s kind of like a puppy on steroids. Doesn’t know his own strength.”

3)What I need is a respectable long-term-looking relationship. We start
fucking and you’ll be all ‘Oh Mal, I never dreamed such ecstasy was possible. I cannot live without you! Fuck me, Mal. Pleeeeease.’”

4)Sometimes the temptation to hit him was so huge.

5)   “Oh, you feel like fucking?”
“Well, yeah. I’m not used to going more than a day or two. It’s making me antsy.” He did a little jig on the spot to demonstrate. “I don’t like it. C’mon, Anne. Help a friend out. It’ll be good.”
“Hands down, that’s the most romantic thing I’ve ever heard. I can pretty much feel my legs just falling wide open for you right now.”

6)“You can be confused later. But come on my face now, please?”

7)“Hello, Anne’s clitoris. It’s me, Malcolm, your lord and
master.”
“Oh, god, no.” I covered my face with my hands. “Please don’t.”
“Shh. This is a private conversation.” He brushed hot, feverish kisses up and down the lips of my sex. My stomach tensed so hard it hurt. “Look at you all pretty, pink, and excited. Don’t worry, I’ll look after you.”

8)“About the time you’re waving a toilet brush around exclaiming about the beauty of your bowl, it’s probably time to stop and rethink your life.”
