Fantasizing over Vaughn Asher was a dream. Meeting Vaughn Asher was a fairytale. Loving Vaughn Asher was my downfall.
The past is always there. Waiting. Waiting to expose you. Waiting to ruin you. Waiting to take you back.

My opinion:
She has been kidnapped again and she hopes that the preparation she did all those years will help her escape this nightmare. Vaughn is going crazy, he doesn't know where she is and the freak is making him look guilty. Grace isn't a victim anymore, she's a brave woman and able to fight that freak. She escapes with an injury. But she has the man of her dreams with her now. The happiness doesn't come easily to them, a new problem is coming up.
This book is mostly about her new abduction. It shows a scared Grace fighting for her life and an even more worried Vaughn who are trying to save her. The one nightmare has ended but the happiness hasn't come yet. Vaughn seems to have people who obviously keep grudges on him.
