Description:
I don't believe in fairy tales.
I don't believe in glass slippers.
I don't believe in Prince-Freaking-Charming.
Cinderella can kiss my ass.
I kiss frogs, sometimes even toads.
I've given up on meeting Mr. Right, instead it seems all I meet is Mr. Wrong, Mr. Very-Wrong and even, Mr. Lets-Not-Even-Go-There.
Fairy tales are for morons.
Well, that's what I thought until Gabriel Black barged through my life, turning everything upside down.
He's hot, sexy and little rough around the edges.
But, he's hiding something, something deep. I can feel it, taste it and smell it.
Now I'm left wondering if he's my Prince Charming or my fairy tale villain.
Will I ride away safely into the night, dreaming of happily ever afters?
Or, will I stumble and fall in ridiculously high heels only meant for women with a death wish?
Once Upon A Time...
I met Gabriel Black.
My opinion:
Payton was a girl who didn't believe in fairytales anymore. Especially not about the princess who finds her prince charming. And that was because she had been betrayed and also stuck with kissing frogs. Payton was working as a PR assistant, one day her boss assigned her to a client, she was excited and scared since she had no experience. Her friends took her out to celebrate, that's when she met Mr Tall Dark and Dangerous. He gave her a very intense orgasm but refused to give his name. No matter how good that was, he was a complete ass and she hoped she wouldn't see him again. She wasn't that lucky. The client, Mr Black, was Mr Tall Dark and Dangerous. Payton did a great job, he signed to Blue Stone PR. Now she had to stay away from him if she wanted to keep her job. Again no luck. Mr Black asked for her to do the job. Payton tried to keep it professional but he wasn't giving up, neither her best friends. He slowly showed her how much he cared for her and that the fairy tales existed. Payton and Gabriel didn't have them happily ever after, they just started writing one chapter after the other in their beautiful fairytale.
A modern day fairytale with a stubborn and previously hurt princess and a persistent prince.I loved every part of this book. It's sweet, funny and so damn hot. The characters are so funny and so different from each other. It has a sex scene that will melt your panties. Gabriel is a very private person, who always gets what he wants and never apologises. Payton was a girl who grew up very poor and wanted to make her dream come true while helping her family and friends. The way he proposed was so romantic.
My favorite lines:
1)“I turned you from frumpy Smurf to hot-as-hell-drop-down-your-boxers-and-screw-me Smurfette.”
2)WARNING: This voice turns women stupid.
3)“Did you really just fall?” He chuckled deeply within his throat and offered his hand. I took it and was quickly pulled to my feet.
“No,” I said, wiping off the back of my dress and whatever dignity I had left, “I just attacked the floor.” I shrugged, peering up through my lashes.
