I wake in a vineyard with no memory of how I got here.
Black heart balloons drift between twisted grapevines, and somewhere in the darkness, he's watching. Waiting. When his voice cuts through the cold February night, commanding me to run, I obey without question.
But every predator should remember: sometimes the prey has claws of her own.
My opinion:
Valentines in the Vineyard by Dana LeeAnn is part of the Dark Nights Collection, and it delivers a decadent, shadow-kissed Valentine’s treat.
The story follows Seraphina and Luke Morrison. Seraphina awakens in a vineyard, dressed to impress yet disoriented, when a mysterious voice urges her to run before the song ends. If she fails, she will be his. She runs as fast as she can, but he inevitably catches her, and what follows is a night filled with secrets, tension, and delicious surprises.
This is a dark, seductive romance with a strong aesthetic pull. If you love masked encounters, a hint of the hunt, and an intimate cat-and-mouse dynamic, this story is absolutely for you. The focus remains tightly on the charged games between the two main characters, making every interaction feel intense and intentional. The love scenes are deeply sensual, and the chemistry lingers long after the final page.
I loved the entire story, especially the clever surprise toward the end.
Highly recommended for readers craving a bold, darkly romantic Valentine’s read.
