The Game Plan by Adriana Locke is the second book in the Legends Football series.
Finn Miller and Poppy Quinn have been friends with benefits for a long time, but lately, their connection has become more intimate. Poppy refuses to see it as something more and keeps putting obstacles in their way. Finn, on the other hand, makes it clear that he wants more from her.
So, when a rumor spreads that he is engaged, he takes it as an opportunity to prove that they could be good together, while also helping Poppy get more support for the charity she wants to create. Poppy agrees to be his fake fiancée for as long as he needs. But this arrangement is about to change her life...
Fake dating, friends to lovers, best friend's brother, and a golden retriever MMC. This story has some of my favorite tropes!
I loved the spicy scenes and the entertaining dialogues. The story is told from dual POVs, and the characters are opposites, but they fit together perfectly. He falls first, and he isn't afraid to show it, while she has her own issues that prevent her from admitting her feelings, even to herself.
The scenes where they take care of his niece were absolutely swoon-worthy! 🥹
If you love sports romance with plenty of spice, great banter, and a little drama, this book is for you!
