My opinion:
Ivan's and Gabrielle's story.
They met one night at a gala where he mistaken her for his escort date. He was bewitched by her beauty. Ivan asked from his friend to send someone to help him with his valuable paintings. His friend sent a student, Gabrielle, Ivan didn't recognise her and neither did she at first in the dark,
but when they went to his house with the help of the lights they immediately recognised each other. It was a very bad encounter, he insulted her and left her alone. Gaby felt awful. The next morning she disappeared and never talked to him again. A few months later it was Ethan's and Brynne's
wedding,there they met again. Gaby was his obsession, he couldn't take her out of his mind, he needed to get to know her and explore her. And he did it, he managed to get her back to his house, have incredible sex but he wanted more so much more from her.
“I want you submissive when we fuck, Gabrielle. I want so badly to have that…with you.”
It's nice story, it evolves the same time with Ethan's and Brynne's stories. Whoever have read the Blackstone affair series know who Ivan and Gabrielle are for those who don't know, Ivan is a Lord, olympic champion and Ethan's cousin, Gaby is a historical art student and Brynne's best
friend. In this book we see how big the attraction is between them and how they ended up together. I would like to learn more about their past such as why Gabrielle is so afraid of men and why she doesn't trust her self with them, also i'd like to find out what happend with Ivan and his ex-girlfriend. We only got to know a few background information but nothing to explain their fears and trust issues. Nevertheless was an enjoyable story with very hot love scenes.
