Rome (Marked Men #3) by Jay Crownover

                                                                     Description:

Sometimes the wrong choice can be just right . . .
Fun and fearless, Cora Lewis knows how to keep her tattooed "bad boy" friends at the Marked in line. But beneath all that flash and sass is a broken heart. Cora won't let herself get burned again. She's waiting to fall in love with the perfect man—a baggage-free, drama-free guy ready for commitment. Then she meets Rome Archer.
Rome Archer is as far from perfect as a man can be. He's stubborn, rigid, and bossy. And he's returned from his final tour of duty more than a little broken. Rome's used to filling many roles: big brother, doting son, supersoldier—but none of those fit anymore. Now he's just a man trying to figure out what to do with the rest of his life while keeping the dark demons of war and loss at bay. He would have been glad to suffer through it alone, until Cora comes sweeping into his life and becomes a blinding flash of color in a sea of gray.Perfect may not be in the cards, but perfectly imperfect could just last forever . . .

                                                                My opinion:
It was fourth of July and all of them had gathered to Rule's and Shaw's new house to celebrate, they all were having fun except Rome. He was brooding and making Cora angry. The party didn't end well. Rome went for a drink to drunk his sorrows but ended up having a fight with
a few local bikers. He was having a hard time adjusting to his new life. Somehow after a few arguments and talks they ended up in bed more than once. They went to dates and were having so much fun together. Rome was struggling with the aftereffects of PTSD and they also had an
unexpected surprise. They both were scared and happy about it. They had some fights and Rome played the hero for one more time which it almost cost his life. In the epilogue we have a revelation about Nash.

It was very nice and sexy. We see the struggle of an ex-marine trying to fit in life and fight his nightmares while he's in a new relationship. From the other hand we have a girl who was broken by her ex and couldn't trust another guy. They both were strong willed, good and could kill for family. I liked Cora, she was a tiny pixie but she was so fiery that could scare those big ass men. I also loved how all of them act like they're one big happy family.

My favourite lines:
1)I bet if he ever bothered to smile, panties across the nation would melt.

2)I could’ve punched him in the nose, but there wasn’t a stepladder anywhere handy.”

3)“Fuck.” That seemed to sum it up nicely.
Ayden laughed and reached down to pull me up to my feet.
“I think that’s what got you into trouble in the first place. Let’s go eat something.”

4)“You talking to me or my dick?”

5)“Not kissing hurts me and you don’t even want to know what no sex does to me.”
