My opinion:
Serafina was going to marry a duke, who was a very bad man, but a few days before from their wedding he died. She thought that she was free but her father informed her that she was going to marry the next duke of Hartholm. Nor Serafina neither Rafe wanted this marriage, he was determined to find a solution. Serafina offered him one, they'll get married have sons and then each of them can live their life free. They got married, Serafina revealed to Rafe what Cyril had done to her and she realised that Rafe was nothing like his cousin or her father, she didn't need to be afraid anymore. The next day Rafe wanted to add something more to their arrangement,pleasure. They were married for over a week and Rafe started falling for his beautiful wife but she wasn't. Sera's life had been a bad one and the only thing she wanted was to live alone, but Rafe was going to win her trust and love. To succeed that Rafe wanted to give her what she always wanted, her own home and freedom but his love for her made him a bit selfish and soon forgot about that plan. He was determined to stay happily married with her. While they were walking at the park someone shot Rafe, it seemed like he was going to die and in that moment Serafina realised how much she loved her husband.
It is a very sweet story. It's about a girl who was raised to be a duchess, treated badly by her family and he ex fiance. But after she married her new husband
she felt for the first time happiness. He and his family gave her what she longed in her whole life. Rafe was a notorious young man who one day inherited a
title and a wife. He had a carefree life and now he thought that his life would be terrible but he couldn't be more wrong. For the first time Rafe was in love.
