My opinion:
Lydia had a good life until she found out that her now ex boyfriend cheated on her and let another woman pregnant. She couldn't stay with him, so now she was single and homeless. Thankfully she had a friend who offered to help her until she was ready to stand on her feet again. One thing that surprised her was that a colleague, who she didn't think that was possible to even know her name, was ready to listen to her problem and be nice to her. James, Lydia's colleague, wanted her, her beautiful eyes were driving him crazy. He knew that he should stay away from her but he just couldn't do it. He found her a place to live and then questioned his friend about her. Bex, Lydia's new housemate, showed her that she was a submissive and took her to a bdsm club, she liked it there but there was a man who caught her attention, a very dirty bad wrong man his name was Masque. She begged Bex to take her back there so she can meet him, her friend tried to put her off but she
had no luck. Lydia convinced her to train her so she can be ready for him. Bex put her one of the biggest task, she had to seduce the most private and mysterious person she's ever known. If she could have him she would get Masque too. And she did, Lydia was happy, descovering her true self little by little with the man she had a crush on for a very long time. They were trying to keep things casual but it wasn't working so well, after a while people from their past were putting them
obstacles, that made their relationship more difficult than it already was. Lydia finally let her self break after her ex's appearance, where James hurt her for the final time. A week after that James had to take a decision that would change his life forever.

It's an interesting book for those who love bdsm novels which contain lots of pain and other fetishes. This one has lots of drama, love, physical and emotional pain,(vomiting and pee). The two main characters are Lydia and James. Lydia used to be the strong person who always suppressed her feelings. The only way for her to feel something was pain, first by cutting herself and then through her time in the bdsm club. There she felt happy and when she met James/Masque she felt loved. James was a very private person, kept everything hidden, stayed away from people so they would never find his secret again. That was until he met Lydia and her beautiful cat eyes. For the first time he wanted to change, to feel something for another person. She was the one person who broke him and made him happy.
