My opinion:

Lillith is in a psychiatric clinic,something had happened to her and she shut down her feelings plus she didn't remember a lot from her past. She was dreaming and "seeing" Sebastian because he makes her feel safe. She was wondering from time to time why nobody else saw him but she didn't ask questions because she didn't want to lose him. She needed to get out of there and go find him.  She found him but he was acting like a totally different person. He told her to stay away from him but she wasn't going to give up. Sebastian wanted to protect her, he wasn't a man who could have a relationship. So he had to scare her away. Since he couldn't keep her away he thought that he could help her cure her trauma and set her free. Slowly with pain and manipulation he made her remember. In the end she hated him, he fell for her and  the bad guys who ruined her life found her. Game over.

This is one of the most complicated stories i have ever read. It's a dark novel, it also has a little bit of suspense in it. The story has a lot of flashbacks to the past. You could connect it abit to the BDSM but this has no rules. There are two main characters: Lillith and Sebastian. A few strangers has ruined her life by playing a crazy sadistic game and she ended up in a clinic with a memory loss. Sebastian is a member of something he wants to escape. He does awful things and for one of those wanted forgiveness from his little red fairy. She was just a project who became his obsession.

To say the truth i wasn't very fond of it when i started reading it because it was so confusing but in the end i loved it.
