My opinion:
Elder saved Pimlico just in time from that monster, not to free her as she thought, but to keep her. His doctor managed to fix her tongue and some of her injuries. Now he wanted for her to pay him back. Her new prison was more elegant and her keeper was more gentle and patient. He needed her to finally talk and tell him what he wanted to hear but she was too afraid of this new situation. Pim was expecting the worst from him and it was driving him crazy. Elder couldn't decide what to do with her, plus he was attracted to her a lot. She wasn't trusting him no matter what he did, so he decided to give her what she wanted under one condition. The first lesson was successful, they were both happy. But their pent up emotions exploded and it was time for a new beginning.
This one is less dark than the first book and more romantic. It is so emotionally intense. Most of the story takes place on the Phantom, Elder's ship. They both go through a lot. Elder is trying to "fix" her and control his desire. Pim is afraid of this strange situation she's in and she has this inner battle about her newfound feelings for Elder. She also has enough strength and determination to face the new challenges. This book has a very interesting plot with only a couple characters being involved in it. Definitely a 5-star book for me.
