My opinion:
Drake had met Hyun when they were just kids, that day he had decided that she was going to be his. Many years later: Hyun was trying to live a simple life hidden in plain sight. Years of betrayal and abuse by her own family had turned her into a loner. One night she noticed that a man was stalking her, for some reason instead of fear she felt safe. A few days later she started receiving notes with little stories in them, it scared her but also excited her. When Drake saw she was in trouble he crossed "the stalking line" and went to help her. Ever since he not only kept watching her but started physically interacting with her. Hyun's husband had enough and tried to kill her. After Drake realised how much Hyun desired to be his he decided it was time to set her free from what kept her trapped. For the first time in her life, Hyun was free and loved by a man.
It's a twisted dark romance with a happy ending. There is a twist in the end that will blow your mind. Great captivating storyline, very intense erotic scenes. The narrative is carried out alternative by Hyun and Drake. The characters are very interesting. Hyun was a nice, kind, shy girl with simple dreams. She was unloved and abused her whole life, she felt weak but in the end, it was proven that she was way braver and smarter. Drake was a shy man who didn't like to talk much but loved to write. He was loving, caring, but also very dangerous. I never expected that i would like this book so much, i'm glad i read it!!!
