Rock Redemption (Rock Kiss #3) by Nalini Singh

                                                          Description:
Kit Devigny could have loved rock guitarist Noah St. John. Their friendship burned with the promise of intense passion and searing tenderness…until the night Noah deliberately shattered her heart.

Noah knows he destroyed something precious the night he chose to betray Kit, but he’d rather she hate him than learn his darkest secret. All he has left is his music. It’s his saving grace, but it doesn’t silence the voices that keep him up at night. Chasing oblivion through endless one-night-stands, he earns a few hours’ sleep and his bad boy reputation.

When a media error sees Noah and Kit dubbed the new “it” couple, Kit discovers her chance at the role of a lifetime hinges on riding the media wave. Wanting—needing—to give Kit this, even if he can’t give her everything, Noah agrees to play the adoring boyfriend. Only the illusion is suddenly too real, too painful, too beautiful…and it may be too late for the redemption of Noah St. John.

                                                            My opinion:
Kit and Noah used to be very good friends. They had good chemistry, she thought that their friendship could be something more until he hurt her. Months after that incident, Kit couldn't stop caring about him. She was too important to Noah as well so he would do anything to be her friend again. They started spending time together, talking and having fun like real friends until the media created an interesting story. For Kit's career, they had to pretend to be a couple in love. Fans and media loved them together. Both of them were comfortable with each other but unfortunately, with her stalker and Noah's nightmares holding him back, they couldn't be like a normal couple. Noah realized how much he loved her so he decided to open up and try to move forward with her by his side. When their two main problems were solved they managed to have the life they wanted.

Quite an eventful romantic rock story. It brings out so many emotions, such as anger, sadness, happiness... There were moments that melt my heart. The part with their relationship kinda frustrated me many times but with the stalker part on the side, it made it so much better. In this book, the roles changed since the man was the troubled one and the girl tried to "fix" him. Unfortunately, i don't have much to say about the characters, apart from they were both smart, talented, attractive and caring. This is my least favorite book from the series, it wasn't as fun as the two previous books and it felt like Noah was a totally different character. I would give it 3 out of 5 stars just for the plot.
