Review: Good Grief by Vera Elle Unita

                                                                Description:
Jasmine Frost had imagined the first day at her new job quite differently. How on earth could she have known the arrogant billionaire Cole Ward would insist on her leading the renovations of his mansion?
To oversee the renovations, Jasmine moves in with Cole. Turns out, the mansion needs more than a little makeover, and she is stuck with that growly bear of a man for weeks. He doesn't even like her French bulldog—who the hell doesn't like puppies?
Still, they can’t withstand the strong attraction between them. The dark look in his eyes is intriguing and Jasmine can't keep herself from digging into his past. But what if she doesn't like what she finds?

                                                    My opinion:
I received an ARC for an honest review:
Jasmine Frost was an architect and was going to work at Hall & Son, where they hired only the best. On her first day there, something unexpected happened, she landed her first job as a leader of a project. It wasn't something exciting for her but she accepted it. Though she was a little bit scared since she would be living in Cole Ward's mansion until the job was done. They both felt like they knew each other but they couldn't remember. From the first time he saw her something changed inside him, she might have brought back memories from his past that he wanted to forget, but he thought that she might be able to bring happiness back in his life. Of course, there was the attraction between them that was fastly growing. Cole had made it clear to her, with words and actions, that she would eventually end up in his bed. No matter how much he irritated her, she also wanted him. Cole was right, he soon had her in his bed but it wasn't enough, he wanted more. For that to happen he had to leave the past behind and open up to Jasmine. It was the most difficult thing he had done the last few years, but that led him to have a bright and happy future with the woman he loved and their little flea-ball!!!

It's such a romantic sexy, and emotional story. The storyline is amazing, light and fun in the beginning and then gets deeper and painful but ends with an amazingly happy ending. There are many funny and hot moments in the beginning. Everything happens in only a few weeks. It was like a "lust at the first sight" (similar to love at first sight) since they wanted to tear each other's clothes off from day one. I liked their interaction and their arguments. He loved to rile her up and she loved to make him smile. About the characters: Cole, is dark, broken, build like a brick wall, bossy, handsome, cocky, sweet, loving, caring man. Jasmine is a vibrant spitfire, intelligent, independent, kind lady. There is also the cutest little puppy, Chester. In general, it's a very good story perfect for a summer afternoon read. I will give it 4,7 stars!!!

A few of my favorite lines:
1)“You sigh like you’re having sex, not like you’re having a meal.”

2)“I’ve got dessert,” he whispered against her lips.
The first thing that came to mind? “For that to taste like dessert, you’ll need to eat lots and lots of pineapple.” Classy, Jasmine, real classy.

3)“Pain is like love,” Jasmine remembered. “You can’t choose to feel it and when it has you in its clutches you can’t get rid of it anymore. But over time, it can fade.”
