Review: Notice by K. Webster

                                                         Description:
I didn’t notice her before…but now I do.
The shiny strands of gold in her silky brown hair.
Tiny crinkles between her eyebrows when she frowns.
Her passion for neatness.

Once I focus on her, I can’t take my eyes from my newest obsession. Ever.
I need to know everything about her.
Her past. Her present.
The way she takes her coffee.
Exactly how she smells after a spritz of perfume in the mornings.

She’s perfect in every way and I was blind.
But, God, now do I see.

I notice the organized way she arranges her clothes in her closet.
How she visits the same market each Saturday.
The sounds of her breathing as I lie beneath her bed in silence.

Violet is mine.
She just doesn’t know it yet.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review:                                                                               My opinion:

Violet was working the last six years at Maxwell Subsidiaries. She was great at her job but her boss wasn't noticing her and the other men there were harassing her. She had enough and decided it was time to find another job. The first time Grayson Maxwell noticed her it was the day she told him she was leaving. He put it his life mission to find out everything about her so he can keep her close to him. Of course, his ways weren't normal, they were the crazy stalking kind but they did the job quite efficiently. He started by offering his friendship so he could be with her at any time and soon to convince her to be his. Day by day Violet was warming up to Grayson, he made her feel safe. He was the first person after all these years she was able to confine her dark secrets. Gray knew that in order to move forward with Violet he had to eliminate the monster from her past. The moment his plan was completed they started to create their abnormal life together.

It's a sexy, sick and twisted dark romance. The storyline is intense and very interesting. It begins with a light, fun, sexy way and it gets darker and darker. There are a lot of secrets that are being revealed slowly throughout the whole story. The erotic scenes are extremely hot. There are some scenes that will make you cringe, very graphic. Both main characters are kinda "fucked up". Violet appears to be a survivor that still fights for a normal life. She is very attractive and smart, sweet and caring. Grayson is a complete psycho, kind of weird but he's also so damn sexy and sweet. His protective side makes you forget all of his faults. They had that instant attraction (when they both truly noticed each other)and that chemistry that made them the perfect couple. I literally fell in love with this book, it deserves at least 5 stars!!!

PS: How can a disturbing dark story have such a sweet ending...

My favorite lines:
1)There’s only room for one freak in her world.
And I take up a lot of space.

2)I grin back as I close the chest. “You want to be a sniper one day?”
“Maybe,” he says as he hooks the lock into place and snaps it closed. “But mostly, I just want to be like you.”
