Rock's childhood was horrendous, growing up with a monster for a father who enjoyed torturing his family. His only happiness came from a young girl who lived next door, as a young boy he had a crush on her. Then his sister died and everything changed. Sofia wondered for years what happened in that house, soon she was going to find out a lot more than she wished for. Rock was finally gonna see her again and if the monster was in a good mood he might have her as well. Sofia was so scared she wanted to be free but currently, the luck wasn't on her side. In order to keep her safe Rock had to follow Charle's orders. But he couldn't let him have her nor hurt her, he had to help her escape before it was too late.
It's a very dark adult romance. The plot is captivating and interesting. It might be sort but it gives a lot of information that doesn't leave you wondering, or expecting something more than it gives. There are some disturbing scenes and it has a beautiful happy ending. My favorite part was when she comforting him and cared for him in the cell. I will rate it with 5 stars.
