Review: Seven Days Silent by Emma York

                                                                   Description:
Jodie Harris can't stop thinking about the mystery man who keeps visiting her workplace. She's only seen him from across the room but every time he comes in, her heart skips a beat and her body aches to know what's under that sharp suit.

Nick Stempel knows everything about her. She's the one he needs. Time to make her the offer. Seven days at his house. Do it and she'll be paid a million. One catch. She must agree to walk away afterward and never contact him again.

Jodie might be able to keep silent when it's all over but there's something she can't hide forever, the growing baby bump that gives away exactly what happened during her stay.

What happens when Nick walks back into her life and discovers he let her walk away carrying something much more important than money?

                                                               My opinion:
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

Nick Stempel was a cold-hearted businessman who only cared about money. Jodie Harris was a young girl who loved art and cared about other people more than herself. Their paths met when he needed her in order to appear as a philanthropic selfless heroic figure. Even though his offer seemed crazy she accepted it so she could fulfill her dream. Even though he acted as a monster to everyone to her he was kind and generous. They desired each other physically since the beginning, but as they were getting each other their feelings started growing. Then a few of his employees tried to con him and chased her away. Nick thought that he had lost her forever but thankfully for him, he was wrong. In the end, both got what they wished for and they lived happily ever after.

It is a very sweet romantic story about a billionaire and a poor girl. It has a nice storyline quite different from the rest of Emma York's books. It is solely focused on the two main characters' growing relationship and Nick's philanthropic ways towards the heroine. I liked that it didn't concentrate on the erotic part of their relationship. My favorite part of the book was Nick transition. I enjoyed reading it and I will rate it with 4 stars.
