Review: Stud (Dragon Runners #2) by M.L. Nystrom

                                                                   Description:
“He’s a strong man and a smart man, but deep down, he’s a hurting man.”

Bold and brash, Eva MacAteer has spent her life working in her blue-collar family’s construction business. In doing so, she’s had to fight for her own place away from her overbearing father, as well as for her own identity as a woman. Struggling between her loyalty to her brothers and her desire to strike out to be her own person, Eva knows one thing for certain: getting involved with a womanizer, no matter how hot he may be, is not the path for her.

Stud is not one to be tied down to any woman. Fiercely loyal to the club and his single ways, the last thing he expects is to become fascinated by the fiery Eva. He sees his own life reflected in hers and is not quite sure how to handle the connection.

Can two mismatched people find enough common ground to overcome their fears and allow love to grow?

My opinion:

Eva MacAteer had grown into an all-male family with her five brothers and her stubborn Irish father. Due to their family business, they had to travel a lot so she had no friends or home. After high school, she joined the team as well. One of their latest jobs was the new bar of the Dragon Runners MC. There she met Stud and became good friends. After her serious accident, he took her to the Lair and under his wing. There was chemistry between them from the beginning but that soon bloomed into something more. During her stay there she saw how beautiful was to have friends and family who helped each other, plus she realized that she could turn her passion as a profitable job. After a while came the time when both proved how much they cared and meant for each other. In the end, Stud managed to forget his past and move on, and Eva to get her dream to come true.

A beautiful romantic and entertaining MC romance. There's a bit of family drama but other than that it's solely focused on the two main characters love story. It has many funny scenes and fights. I liked the characters a lot: Eva was a real spitfire and had a heart of gold. Stud was a nice and honest guy but sometimes appeared to be a bit broken. I also liked how their relationship started as a friendship and gradually progressed. My favorite part was the last chapter, funny and emotional. I enjoyed it a lot and I will rate it with 5 stars.
