Review: Tempting Harry (The Hawke Fortune Book 4) by Victoria Pinder

                                                                Description:
One lawyer who believes in the law above all. One former sinner who ruined lives. Attraction wasn’t supposed to happen.
He’s a constitutional lawyer with a burgeoning career, but no matter how many accolades he receives, Harrison Hughes will always be alone. His parents are long-dead. His love life is nonexistent. Any hope of belonging to something bigger than his grief is dashed until his ploy to be the person people expect him to be inadvertently leads him to the love of his life, but like him, she’s lost.
Six months ago, Roxanne suffered a horrific loss, and no one will let her forget it. As the Christmas holiday approaches, she’s determined to lay low and get through the holiday unscathed, but when she meets Harry, her plans suddenly change. Could their chance meeting lead them in a better direction or will their broken hearts and spirits prevent them from finding their happily-ever-after?

                                                       My opinion:
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

Roxanne Sinclair and Harrison Hughes were two people who had been hurt by their loved ones and they were currently single. One chance encounter at a Christmas party created a mutual respect and a business deal between them. The attraction that existed turned this deal into something more. His plan didn't work as he expected, he found the person he was looking for but almost lost the only woman he truly loved. Thankfully for both, Harry wasn't a man who gave up easily.
It's a nice short romantic story. The storyline evolves quickly in only a couple days. It gives a few information about the main characters' past which helps in understanding what's happening. It focuses more on their romance and secondly on his mission. I liked how different the characters were: he was the good guy who believed in himself and did everything right and she was the sinner with the bad choices. These two had good chemistry and was a fun couple as well. In general, it's a nice read without drama. I will rate it with 3,5 stars.
