My opinion:
Deacon Stone was the CEO of the largest independent toy company and in order to keep his position, he had to find a wife soon. Claire Brooks worked at Bee Clean Maid Services, unfortunately, she didn't earn much so she was in desperate need of money.
An accident in Deacon's house left her unemployed which was the perfect opportunity for him to strike with his proposal. She only had to marry him for a month and she would have enough money to give to her little girl the life she deserved. They had to convince everyone that they were truly in love and stay away from each other inside the house. The first part was easy but the second not so much since they had an incredible chemistry. Soon Deacon found himself attached to the little girl and her mama. He wanted badly to keep this family but he was afraid to admit it which caused him to make a bad decision. Thankfully for him, Claire loved him enough to admit her own feelings. In the end, they were a big happy family!!!
It's a super romantic and funny Christmas story. It has a simple and entertaining storyline, amazing characters and a few scorching hot adult scenes. I loved the family theme and the crazy antics of the little girl. My favorite part was the Christmas day. I fell in love with the book from the start, it's perfect for the season and I will rate it with 5 Christmas stars!!!
