Review: Hidden Uriel (A Frosted Game of Hearts Book 4) by Victoria Pinder

                                                                 Description:
One treasure hunting professor who wants to erase his past and the one woman he can’t forget.

When Emily Mira was eighteen, Dane Pearce gave her a key as a promise of his love. Shortly after, he disappeared from her life. Now, ten years later, his troubles are following her as men with guns storm into a nightclub, looking for her.

It’s Dane’s fault men are hunting his high school sweetheart. She has something all of them want: the key to unlock a valuable, ancient treasure. After saving her from the men, he expects her to hand over the key willingly and be done with the danger. Instead, she demands to join him as his partner in search of the missing Irish Crown Jewels.

Now there’s a bounty on both of their heads. But it’s not his life or the jewels Dane is most afraid of. It’s facing the reason he left her behind in the first place.

                                                                        My opinion:
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

Uriel Dalligatti, previously known as Dane Pearce, was an archeologist professor at Harvard. Now that his stepfather was dead the police informed him that he might have inherited a box that holds the Irish Crown Jewels. Also, a man he knew was after the Belle Epogue Diamond and Emerald Egalantine necklace created by Cartier, that he had given to his friend, Emily Mira, years ago. Uriel decided to help the police so he could save Emily from the upcoming danger. They hadn't met for a decade, and instead of cursing him Emily wanted to go with him and help him. The chase soon started and the bad guys were always one step ahead of them, which caused them a lot of accidents and near death experiences. In the end, they got back the jewelry and through this chaos, they realized that they couldn't be apart again. A new beginning started for Dane and Emily.

It's an adventurous romance filled with action. The plot is simple with a few twists, it concentrates on the chase and the feelings between the two main characters. The intimate scenes aren't many and they are PG. In this story, the female character is more bossy and complicated than the male, which is rare.  The male is more insecure with issues. One of my favorite scenes was the conversation between Emily and her older sister towards the end. It was fun to read and I will rate it with 4 stars.
