Description:
Kimberly Mira has spent her adult life learning to forgive herself for her past mistakes. She teaches yoga, she mediates on the beach, but she’d never called home. Upon receiving a wedding invitation to her sister’s wedding, she chooses to finally return. She intends to ask her mother and sister to forgive her for running away. She asks friends for a ride, but the plane is hijacked and crashes into the Atlantic Ocean.
Kimberly thought she must be dead, but then she wakes up in a medieval castle on an island off the coast of Maine. She meets Raphael, a man who saved her life but doesn’t speak to her. He’s just as mysterious as the castle he lives in, but he is keeping her alive from her assassins who are outside the castle walls. Raphael’s secrets can destroy everything, and she’s fighting her attraction to him. As her enemies close in, Kimberly finds herself unable to trust. Raphael refuses to communicate with the outside world to seek out any help even as their very lives are at stake. As the threat becomes deadly, Kimberly realizes she must uncover Raphael’s secrets. She must know what happened, no matter where the clues lead. Her life hangs in the balance. How far will she go to save herself and the man she’s falling hard for? Can his past be forgiven? Can they survive as the castle is sieged? Can they fall in love?

Kimberly Mira was traveling from London to the USA to meet with her family again when her plane crashed and the pilot killed her friends.
Raphael Murphy rescued her and brought her back to his castle. When she woke up she was confused since she didn't remember much.
Soon she found out that she couldn't leave from his island before April due to the bad weather. Raphael offered her a job as long as she would stay there and she gladly accepted it. The more she explored the place the more scared she became with the weird sounds and the ghost stories. She was so anxious with everything that was happening, her only happy moments was with Raphael. There was chemistry between them and even though she knew he was keeping some deep secrets that didn't stop her from falling for him. Raphael was trying hard
to keep her safe and do his job but her curiousness put them in big trouble. It was time for both of them to tell the truth and join forces
so they could continue with their lives.
Stormy Peril is the second book in the Frosted Game of Hearts series. It's a mystery romance with a lot of action. It's well written with
a good plot. It has many similarities with the first book both in the story and the characters. The ghostly vibe is more intense in this
one and so is the action. The erotic parts are minimum so it's perfect for all readers. About the characters: Both of them were consindered
the black sheeps of their families. Their guilts ruled their lives and they would do everything for those who cared about. Their only
difference was in their personal lives, she was more of a fighter and he was a quitter. Meg's character confused me alot, i couldn't
figure out what she was. In general, it's a nice book that surprises you towards the end. I would have prefer for the male character to
be a little less hard to get. I liked it and i will rate it with 3,5 stars.
