Review: Secret Cowboy (The House of Morgan Book 14) by Victoria Pinder

                                                                  Description:

When an heiress meets a Cowboy...
Catherine Morgan’s spoiled, adventurous and being blackmailed with a sex tape. Except she never video taped herself so it was all a set up. However her family’s fame and notoriety will ensure that the tape gets seen everywhere, even if she pays the blackmail. So she decides to let the chips fall as she’s going to disappear until the press goes and finds another story.
Sugar farmer Maverick Appellton put out an online ad for a wife, not expecting anyone. But he needs a mother for his son Carter. Most women just sent him a letter, but when Jess Taylor shows up on his farm, she sends everything out of order. However just as he’s starting to trust Jess with his son and possibly his heart, he finds out she’s the notorious Catherine Morgan.
Neither was prepared for the heartwarming chemistry or what happens when all her secrets come home to the farm.

                                                                My opinion:
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

Secret Cowboy is the 14th book of the House Of Morgan series. In this one, Catherine had to use her old identity and hide until the sex tape scandal disappeared. She found a job as a temporary fake fiance to farmer Maverick Appleton and a nanny to his son. There was an instant attraction between them that soon developed into something more. Catherine/Jess was happy in her current position and hoped that it could be her new life. Unfortunately, she made the mistake of keeping her family's name hidden from Maverick and that resulted in a big drama. After this, she was sure that she would never find happiness. In the end, Maverick had to decide if he could forget the smart-mouthed Jess and continue his lonely life with his son or if he would follow his heart...

It's a very romantic love at first sight story. I really liked the plot, the characters were nice as well. The progression of the story was a bit quick at some parts but it focused a lot on the romantic scenes between the two main characters. Of course, there is the Morgan drama but we don't see the family much in this one. I love a good cowboy romance and this one doesn't disappoint. It was very enjoyable for me and I will rate it with 4 stars.
