Review: Cupids Anonymous by Lila Monroe

                                                                Description:
Poppy Hathaway is a professional Cyrano - minus the honking great nose. Need a love note, raunchy sext, or apology letter so epic that your other half will forget you hesitated a beat too long when you asked, 'does this make me look fat?'? She's got you covered. But when her most frequent client, the annoyingly charming (or is that charmingly annoying?) Dylan Griffin comes to her with an unconventional new job, Poppy discovers that three little words can add up to one big complication.

Because Dylan doesn't want help seducing another swimsuit model (for once in his life). He wants Poppy's help winning over her his high-school crush (aka, his one true love) - and he's prepared to make it worth her while. Throw in a summer Catskills trip that's equal parts 'Dirty Dancing' and dirty-talking, and this Cupid is soon out of her depth - and head over heels with the last man she expected. But can she find the right words when it comes to her own heart? Or will this happily ever end in disaster?

                                                               My opinion:
Poppy Hathaway from a young age loved anything related to romance and as a result, she became a professional Cyrano. If you needed a love note, a proposal or an apology she was the only one who could help. Her dream was to build a whole empire named Cupids Anonymous. For starters, she had to get an office which was too expensive for her at the moment and that was the reason she couldn't reject any request from her regular client Dylan Griffin. She had a crush on him but she knew she wasn't his type at all. Her current job was to win over Jasmine Michaels from him. In order for that to happen, she had to gather more information about her. With Dylan's insecurity, she ended up third-wheeling in his retreat and spending a lot of time with him. 'Un'fortunately that caused her feelings to skyrocket. In the end, Poppy was left wondering if he was the right man for her or if she was making the worst mistake of her life.

It's a super amusing and sweet romance about a girl who was a born romantic and a man who appeared to be a manwhore. This book is a serious page-turner with a good plot, well written, detailed description and amazing choice of characters. Also, it contains hilarious and scorching hot scenes. The story takes place in present time with only a few references about the past as a better explanation for the characters' situations. It's solely focused on their professional and later
their romantic relationship but we also see them in their everyday occupations. The characters are very relatable and funny and they had great chemistry. I liked how aloof it started and how it slowly escalated. My favorite moments were her missteps and their drunken night. It is a very enjoyable book and i will rate it with 5 stars.
