Review: Billionaire's Secret by Lyz Kelley

                                                              Description:
An emotional novel filled with secrets, community, and everyday heroes from Lyz Kelley, the award-winning author of Blinded.

A wealthy man hurt her—physically and emotionally.

Is Weston Carver the same type of man?

Very likely. He’s a rule breaker. He showed up at her women’s shelter where men are not allowed. Still, he supports many New York Charities. Will he support hers?

He’s powerful and sexy and domineering and narcissistic. She doesn’t trust him, but time is running out. If she wants to keep the shelter open and continue helping women in need, she must make a deal.

But will she be able to afford his price?

                                                               My opinion:
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

Weston Carver, CEO of Carver International, had inherited the Empower house, a nonprofit organization that helped abused women. He needed a trustworthy person on the board
to help fix the mess that existed. Courtney Kramer had to find the money to buy the building where her nonprofit organization was located. Thanks to Weston's old friend Valerie, their paths crossed and made a deal that could benefit both of them. Along the way, they learn more about each other and slowly fall in love. Will Courtney be able to forget her abuse and finally create a healthy relationship with Weston?

It's a heart-wrenching romance about a wealthy man who craved pure love and an abused woman. It has a captivating storyline, that captures your attention throughout the whole book. The author has a way with the words that makes you feel exactly what is happening. The characters were wonderful, they slowly unraveled who they truly were. I felt that the whole abuse subject was carefully approached and explained. I really liked this story, it's a definite page-turner and I will rate
it with 4.5 stars.
