Review: Save the Secret Date by Ellie Cahill

                                                             Description:
Secrets can be sweet. Secrets can be dirty. Secrets can change everything.

Mary’s always been the kind of person you can trust with a secret. Her lips are guaranteed sealed. Unfortunately, she’s just as good at keeping her own secrets. Like the one about her crush on her former roommate, Jake who moved 2,000 miles away without knowing how she felt about him.

Thanks to their friends’ destination wedding in Mexico, however, Mary is about to be face-to-face with Jake—and the rest of her friends—for the first time in two years. Will she be able to find the courage to tell him how she feels? And even if she does, what happens when they all go home again?

Every guest at this wedding seems to have a secret of their own. When all the truth comes out, will it lead to a broken heart or a happily ever after?

                                                                   My opinion:
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

Save the Secret Date is a friends to lovers romantic comedy. It's about Mary and Jake, they were close friends and college roommates. Two of their friends were getting married and the whole college gang was going to meet again after many years. The crush that Jake and Mary had during those years had not been forgotten but had intensified over the years. In this little trip, we get to see how their awkward reunion blooms to a relationship.

This book is super sweet and funny. The plot is nice and has a good and steady build-up. There are many humorous scenes and a few hot ones as well. The characters were lovely and had great chemistry. I loved the friendly/family vibe the story had. Also, there are a lot of surprises and secrets that are revealed in the end. I liked this a lot and I totally recommend this to everyone. I will rate it with 4 stars.
