Due to her upbringing, she was wise beyond her years and she didn't fit in with people around her age. Then there's Pike, her ex-boyfriend's father who is a wonderful man and cared and protected those he loved, included her.
Their love was forbidden and exciting at the same time. There are so much angst and
emotional turmoil but also fun and playful moments. The instant chemistry, the slow build-up in their relationship and that damn sexual tension had me squirming in my seat waiting for that sinful first night. It's such a captivating book that can take you on a wild journey and that will leave you breathless, craving for more. I enjoyed every minute reading this and I will rate it with 5 bright stars.
