Description:
He’s a half-Martian Warlord. Savage, dominant, and dangerous—and now he’s on the hunt. For her.
Deception is a way of life for desperate thief Aurora Blake. Her sole purpose is to snatch enough jewels to escape her vicious stepfather, the powerful head of the corrupt Earther Corporation.
And the fierce Warlord she frames for her crimes? He's the last complication she needs.
She never expects to cross his path. Or to burn so hot after watching from the shadows as his rough commands bring exquisite pleasure to another female.
But Aurora's expectations don't matter when the Warlord wants her for himself. He won't stop until he's claimed her as his obedient mate.
Can she survive whatever he has in store once he discovers she's stolen far more than his barbarian heart?
My opinion:
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review
DaKar Volkan was a half-Martian Warlord. He grew up in a house that they loathed him and treaded him poorly. He managed to escape and go to his mother's world. When his father died he came back to claim his rightful position. But he wasn't that little boy anymore, he was the newly titled Executive of Starlight, Warlord of the Martian Provinces Five through Fifteen, and third Prince of the Qatarishel Martian dynasty. When he was young he had met a beautiful girl that haunted his dreams. In his first days back he met her again, the Lady Aurora Blake an Elithe. She had become a thief in order to get money and escape from her vicious stepfather. Their worlds collided, the lust and the bond that was slowly creating between them mixed their fates together. They were ready to fight and protect each other because they felt that no-one could break them apart. But what about the lies and the murderer on the loose?
Stolen is a sci-fi romance between an elithe girl and a half martian man. There is so much suspense, violence, intrigue, lust, and love. The plot is captivating, quite explanatory and with good descriptions. I am not an avid reader of this genre but I could understand most of it. What surprised me was that their genitals were described by weird funny words. The characters were great and they had intense chemistry between them. I liked how similar their lives and their behaviors were, it created a much-needed spark for the story. My favorite part was when they joined forces to find the "monster". It's an enjoyable read and I will rate it with 4.5 stars. I highly recommend it to sci-fi readers.
