Description:
One cozy fall festival + one magical mishap = one grumpy werewolf who’s now stuck with me… forever?
When I whisper my three secret desires to the wishing well, I never expect my magic to kick in and screw up epically! With one coin toss, I’m bound to Rune, the hunky werewolf who makes wishes at the same time.
Now people in my small town expect me to judge the pumpkin carving contest (have they met me? I don’t have an artistic bone in my body), while he gets to create the town’s hay maze (it’s not like I’ve tried to win that honor for years or anything). Worse? Everyone expects me to protect the town from mischievous fae (newsflash: so not my skill set) and begs him for handmade pumpkin spice latte soap (you got it—soap’s totally my thing).
The only way to untangle ourselves is to work together and make all our wishes come true.
Should be simple, right? Wrong. Because the third wish I made, the one that’s still secret? It’s to find true love. The more time I spend with Rune, the more his touch makes me melt, and an answering heat burns in his eyes. But are his feelings real or just another magical mix-up?

ALC Review
Wishing for a Werewolf by Krista Luna is the second book in the Ferndale Falls Forever series, and it follows Autumn and Rune.
Autumn helps run her family’s goat farm, where they make soaps, but she dreams of creating more artisan products and opening a shop of her own. When she and her adorable mini goat, Babybelle, stumble upon a wishing well, she makes three wishes… and accidentally activates her magic. Enter Rune, who happens to be nearby when everything goes sideways. Thanks to a magical mix-up, their wishes get swapped, and the only way to break the spell is to help each other make those wishes come true. Simple, right? Not quite.
I don’t usually listen to audiobooks, but I’m so glad I picked this one up in that format. Both narrators did an amazing job, but Rune’s voice completely stole the show. That deep, growly tone? Absolutely perfect for the character.
As for the story, it’s everything you’d expect from this author: fun, steamy, and super entertaining. The plot is refreshingly drama-free, with plenty of playful chaos thanks to the witch’s familiar… who, in this case, is the mischievous little goat. Babybelle truly deserves her own spotlight. The chemistry between Autumn and Rune is instant and effortless, and I loved how they chose to work together instead of creating unnecessary tension.
It’s an easy, engaging read (or listen), and I had a great time with it. One of my favorite moments was when Babybelle stepped in to “help” with the binder… chaotic genius.
If you enjoy paranormal romance with a good dose of spice and humor, this one is definitely worth checking out.
