The next year, they meet again, and this time, the masks come off. They share another wonderful night, but life throws another obstacle their way. Years later, they keep finding their way back to each other. Is the universe trying to bring them together or keep them apart?
This romance is all about finding the right person at the wrong time, with healing, second chances, and a happily ever after.
I loved every part of this book, from the fun moments to the spicy scenes and those open-hearted conversations. The characters are incredible, and their chemistry is just so good! Macklin is the one who falls first, and he has that golden retriever energy that I absolutely love. Cece is the one dealing with her own issues and learning how to heal. The way Macklin takes care of her was my favorite part. 🥹
I also loved how her besties always had her back. I’m a big fan of a good found family dynamic, and this one made the story even better.
If you love spicy rom-coms with emotional moments, amazing chemistry, a golden retriever hero, and second chances, this book is definitely for you!
