Review:Knight and Play by Kitty French

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Description:CEO of Knight Inc. Lucien Knight is catch-your-breath gorgeous and damaged by his troubled past in Norway. All grown up and relocated to London, he's built his empire of adult clubs from the ground up to become the gorgeous patron saint of the sex industry. No one knows the dark childhood secrets that have given Lucien a backbone of steel and a heart encased in ice.

No one until Sophie Black, that is...

From the moment girl-next-door Sophie accepts the job as Lucien Knight's PA, she understands how Alice must have felt when she tumbled down the rabbit hole.
Lucien takes her safe, vanilla life away and plunges her head first into a huge dish of fantasy flavours. Rich, spicy chocolate covered with dark, oozingly lickable sauce? Check. Tutti-frutti with indecently red, glistening cherries on the top? Yes please.

Lucien strips away all of Sophie's inhibitions, and when he instructs her to select three new toys, she soon realises he has more than a game of Monopoly on his mind...

He's opened the door to a whole new pleasure packed world without limits, and Sophie is utterly intoxicated. But how far is she willing to go? And what happens when she has to step back into reality again?

                                          My opinion:

Sophie Black was an ordinary woman who hated her job and wanted to do something new. Also she was feeling neglected because
her husband was traveling most of the time and thought that she could find a way to spice up her sex life so she can save
her marriage. Well she found the right job. PA for the Knight Inc.
Lucien Knight a Viking sex mogul. From the first time that he saw her he knew that behind the good girl there was a spunky
girl and he wanted to bring her out.He pushed her into situations that encouraged the tigress in her to come out more
often.Lucien had a filthy mouth and Sophie loved that. He'd shown her how sex was supposed to be and there was no going
back.Sex with Lucien was a cross between the most sweeping romantic movie and the filthiest porn flick:he was feather
gentle and filthy erotic all at the same time. Will she go back to her unfaithful husband or will she move forward?
Lot's of hot sex!!! I never thought that i would like this book so much, can't wait to read the second...

My favourite lines:
1)Lucien Knight was too much. Too sexual, too arrogant, too male. Even
though he was fully clothed, sex oozed from every pore of the man
2) In that moment she wasn’t ordinary Sophie Black,
builder’s PA and invisible wife. She was sexy and sophisticated Ms. Black, able to stop Viking sex-gods
in their tracks with just a few little words.
3)That’s a shame, Princess
4)“Would it help if we fucked?”
Sophie laughed and put her hands to her cheeks in shock.
“Could we at least have a drink first?”
5)Christ, I can’t wait to fuck you
6). Lucien was dangerous enough when he was being his usual cocky self, but like this? Perceptive
and raw? He was lethal
7)You deserve to be adored, and you deserve
to be fucked until you can’t stand up.”
8)Stop looking at my crotch and come here
9)We’re not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy
10)Are you going to ask me in for coffee? Or you could just ask me in for sex. I prefer sex to coffee
11)I wasn’t planning on it, but you’re making my fingers itch to reach for the paddle in the drawer next to
you.
12)“It’s called Let’s show Sophie how fucking beautiful she is.”

Review: The rocker that holds her by Terri Anne Browning

Description:
I had big dreams of how I wanted my life. Becoming a rock star was all I wanted. It would solve so many of my problems. With the money that I would make I was going to take care of my mom, get her out of the hell hole we had been living in all my life. Having your dreams come true isn’t something that many
people get to accomplish in life. I did, and I loved it.

For about a minute…

It’s funny how when you think you have everything you could possible every want, your dreams change. Mine did without my even realizing it. Then I opened my eyes and saw that everything I ever wanted was standing in front of me.

From the first day I set eyes on Emmie she became a part of me. The guys and I spent years watching over her, caring for her… Loving her. Then without my realizing it my love for her changed. I found myself aching for her, wanting her in a way that a guy like me had no right to want her. My love and need for Emmie became an all-consuming ache that I was helpless to fight against.

Would she ever open those big green eyes and see me as anything but a friend?

My opinion:In this book we get to know Nick's side of story. How he met Emmie when they were kids, we see Emmie growing up, their band became famous,Nick falling for Em but keeping it secret. Also how he found out about Em's pregnancyand what happened until the wedding.I loved this book as much as the first one of this series. Can't wait for the Rockers' babies...

My favourite lines:
1) Oh, fuck! How was I supposed to lie on my stomach and let her touch me? Was it really
possible to break your dick? Well, I guess I was about to find out!
2)All I wanted in the world in that instant was to roll her onto her
back and discover if her hot little pussy smelled and tasted as good as it felt against my ass.

Review: Gabriel's Redemption by Sylvain Reynard

Description:Professor Gabriel Emerson has left his position at the University of Toronto to embark on a new life with his beloved Julianne. Together, he’s confident that they can face any challenge. And he’s eager to become a father.

But Julianne’s graduate program threatens Gabriel’s plans, as the pressures of being a student become all consuming. When she is given the honor of presenting an academic lecture at Oxford, Gabriel is forced to confront Julianne about the subject of her presentation—research that conflicts with his own. And in Oxford, several individuals from their past appear, including an old nemesis intent on humiliating Julia and exposing one of Gabriel’s darkest secrets.

In an effort to confront his remaining demons, Gabriel begins a quest to discover more about his biological parents, beginning a chain of events that has startling repercussions for himself, Julianne, and his hope of having a family.

My opinion: Well written.Beautiful story. I truly loved this trilogy.I cried alot at times. The end was perfect and emotional. Now a few words about this book:Gabriel and Julia have their first fight as a couple, Christa is one crazy bitch, Professor Piccton is a lovely woman and has an interesting story,Simon changed (i didn't see that coming).I was so moved by how much gabriel wanted to be a dad, especially the scene with maria.

My favourite lines:
1)Gabriel fixed her with a look that would have melted snow. Then he brought his lips to her ear. “I want to see your naked skin glow in the moonlight while I’m inside you.”

2)They could go to hell. (And study Dante’s Inferno in person.)

3) (Desk sex can be very, very good, but it’s important to remove the staplers first.)
4)“If you don’t know how this happened, darling, then clearly I’m not doing it right.”
5) He kissed her then, tenderly. It was the kiss of a man who’d just received what he desired most
from his beloved. A most desired, most unexpected gift.
6)(It must be said parenthetically that karma had been served.)

Review: Gabriel's Rapture by Sylvain Reynard

Description:Professor Gabriel Emerson has embarked on a passionate, yet clandestine affair with his former student Julia Mitchell. Sequestered on a romantic holiday in Italy, he tutors her in the sensual delights of the body and the raptures of sex.

But when they return, their happiness is threatened by conspiring students, academic politics, and a jealous ex-lover. When Gabriel is confronted by the university administration, will he succumb to Dante’s fate? Or will he fight to keep Julia, his Beatrice, forever?

In Gabriel’s Rapture, the brilliant sequel to the wildly successful debut novel, Gabriel’s Inferno, Sylvain Reynard weaves an exquisite love story that will touch the reader’s mind, body, and soul, forever.

My opinion: Pain and Love. In this book we see Julia's and Gabriel's transformation. The compassionate Julia finally finds the strength to stand up for herslef in more than one occasion. We also see Gabriel's journey and how he changes through that ( a change of 360 degrees). We watch as the two lovers learning each other. Their love blooms.
I like Paul's character, he is in love with Julia but he tries to be a good friend, even though this is killing him.
There are many people who wants them apart... Is their love strong enough? Will they be together at the end?

My favourite lines:

1)"i could drink you like champagne"he whispered
2)You're Botticelli's Venus and Beatrice.
3)When they cried out their pleasure, the pale moon smiled
4)i told you i'd go to Hell to save you. And believe me, i did.
5) This apple represents what i have become -full of hope. And love.
6) Has a man ever asked you to mmary him before?.... Then i'm glad i'm your first.
7)Marry me,be my wife,my friend,my lover and my guide.

Review: Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard

                              Description:
Enigmatic and sexy, Professor Gabriel Emerson is a well-respected Dante specialist by day, but by night he devotes himself to an uninhibited life of pleasure. He uses his notorious good looks and sophisticated charm to gratify his every whim, but is secretly tortured by his dark past and consumed by the profound belief that he is beyond all hope of redemption.

When the sweet and innocent Julia Mitchell enrolls as his graduate student, his attraction and mysterious connection to her not only jeopardizes his career, but sends him on a journey in which his past and his present collide.

                            My opinion:
Julia was studying to be a Dante specialist in the same university her best friend's brother, Gabriel, was teaching. Unfortunately, their first meeting was a disaster with Gabriel being extremely rude to her. Of course, her bad luck with him didn't stop there since he almost tossed her out of the school. Thankfully that changed soon. At first, he felt sorry for her because she lived in a bad place, later he started realizing how attractive and genuine she was. One good thing that happened to her there was Paul, a very kind man who became her new friend. He made her smile a lot, took her out for dinner, they were spending time together. Gabriel didn't like seeing Paul with Julia but couldn't understand why he only knew that he had to stay away from her otherwise there would be many problems. Of course, he could no longer do that, now that he had found his Beatrice he wasn't going to let her go. A professor/student relationship was forbidden by the university so they had to keep it a secret from everyone. But for how long?

It's a very sweet and heartbroken story. It gets so intense and overwhelming in some parts of it. I truly loved this story, apart from the sweet romance story it also gives you life lessons. It has reference to great songs. It also made me want to learn Italian and to find out about the story of Dante Alighieri. I liked the end of the book because it doesn't leave you hanging.
Now about the two main characters: Gabriel Emerson is a sexy professor, a troubled man, gentle and generous lover with a dark past. Julia Mitchell is a kind young lady, abused by her ex-boyfriend, with a bad childhood and the only thing she wanted was to feel loved.

My favorite scene of the book is : How Julia met Gabriel and their first evening/night in Paradise...

My favorite lines:

1)“You’re beautiful, Beatrice. Like a brown-eyed angel.”
2)“For the rest of my life, I’ll dream of hearing your voice breathe my name.”
3) The brown-eyed angel was weeping over the demon. The angel wept because she was grieved at the mere thought of someone hurting him.

4) “I want to make love to you because I care about you. I want to worship your naked body with my own and learn all of your secrets. I want to please you, not for minutes, but for hours and even days. I want to see you arch your back in ecstasy and look into your eyes when I make you come.”

5)The dark angel whispered to his muse in Italian until she fell asleep in his arms, happier than she had ever been. She was loved.

6)“You need to become accustomed to my lips, Julia, because I intend to kiss you a lot.”

You can buy it from Amazon:

Review: Cherry girl by Raine Miller

Description:Elaina Morrison has loved Neil McManus her whole life. She doesn't remember a time when she didn't love him. Through heartbreaking tragedy and years of separation, her love holds true...until life stomps all over her heart, shattering her perfect dream, teaching her how hard it is to let go.
Real life doesn't have anything on romantic dreams though, as these two have learned over and over again. It sucks big time, leaving painful scars in its wake.

But Neil isn't giving up. He's a soldier who has endured years of longing and sacrifice to wait for her. He's fought his way through battles before and this is one he can't afford to lose on any level. Neil is going in fighting--to make Elaina see what he already knows--
...That she will forever be his Cherry Girl...

My opinion: This is love!!! A beautiful romantic story about Elaina and Neil. Neil is the man every woman dreams, sweet, kind, sexy, strong who's not afraid to say the scary words "i love you" and can admit his feelings. Elaina is the girl who fell in love with Neil when she was 10 and never stopped loving him. The perfect couple. I hope we can read more about those two in another book.

My favourite lines:
Neil:"I want this mouth screaming my name when i’m inside you and you’re about to come.I want you in my bed so we can fuck all night long… over and over until you’re a slave to it- just as you used to be."
Elaina:"Caveman plus Greek god equaled big problems for me."
