Review: Diamond Girl by Andrea Smith

                                                                 Description:
In the fall of 2010, thirty-five year old Samantha Dennison sending her only child off to college and is generally feeling F-R-U-M-P-Y. Her loveless marriage to 'the mannequin' has become intolerable; her daughter and best friend have both advised 'Sammie' to get a life of her own. Her husband has his own agenda which does not include her.

Sammie finally heeds their advice and starts with a Kickboxing/Pilates class; ultimately, learning to pole dance. From there, she is well on her way to finally carving out a secret life and identity all of her own. The thrill of the dance and sexuality she discovers within herself is a potent mixture. She gets a part-time job as a dancer in an Indianapolis Gentleman's Club called Jewels. She becomes the dancer known as 'Diamond' and very quickly catches the attention of a 'bad-boy' biker named 'Slate.'

Slate is the ultimate 'alpha' male; however there is a problem: he simply wants it to be about exclusive sex; Sammie wants and needs more from Slate. Sammie is certain that she has embarked on a dangerous, cougar-type relationship with the twenty-something biker and 'prospect' member of the notorious Outlaw Motorcycle Club. She soon finds out that she is totally out of her league with Slate and the dangerous people he associates with in Indianapolis during the summer of 2012. Something big is brewing in Indy; it ain't about race cars either.

                                          My opinion:
The story begins with Samantha making dinner and remembering how she got pregnant by her husband. All those years that she had been married she had done nothing for herself, so after her daughters and her best friends motivations she started to work out and pole-dancing.She had an offer from a friend to work in a gentleman's club. She refused at first but finally
she accept to do it. There she met a hot biker named Slate. She knew that bikers is bad news but hell he was freakin hot  and he wanted her.He advised her to quit that job because it wasn't right for her.Samantha had her first orgasm with Slate and it was incredible so she became a bit emotional. They started a kind of relationship which was based on sex.
When her husband find out he kept her locked at home. Samantha was smart enough though and talked to her friend about some things she had discover about her husband. She was pregnant with Slate's child but only a few people knew it. There are many secrets that slowly being revealed. But at the end Samantha now knew what true happiness was...

In this novel there is lot's of love, passion and romance(between Samantha and Slate),there is also danger (which is mostly about her husband and the bikers).

My favourite lines:
“Hop on,” he said, “I got an extra helmet strapped on.”
“Isn’t that for your biker bitch?”

“That position hasn’t been filled yet. Are you applying?”
