Trey Jackson is a big, bad-ass who makes no apologies for his biker life.
Having grown up in the Hellion Motorcycle Club and then taking the gavel as president, Trey was more than capable of handling his responsibilities. Just as he was his day-job as president overseeing and leading Hellion Construction and any of his needs of the personal, physical variety.
Dallas Sheridan has no time or use for bikers.
Even though she suspects she's surrounded by them in her work as the only female plumber for HC. But she's of a mind that if she doesn't bother them, they won't bother her. Besides, she's busy enough with long workdays, keeping her younger brother out of juvie and ensuring her disabled parents are healthy and secure, in order to avoid them.
A chance meeting puts them on each other's radar.
When Dallas meets with her boss's, boss's, boss she can't get over her discrimination against men who ride. Trey had thought he'd be meeting with another man, not a beautiful girl. But as fate continually throws them together, the two find it thrilling that something wonderful is building between them. One that transcends their roles and responsibilities, their choices and prejudices, even their busy everyday lives.
My opinion:
Dallas was having financial problems, her parents were sick and her brother was always in trouble. So she asked an advance salary from her work she is a plumber in Hellions MC. Then she meets "the boss" aka Trey for the first time. Trey denied her request but offered another solution, he'd keep her brother there for six months so he could teach him how to behave. After Trey saw the situation in Dallas' house he took it a bit personal. Plus he seemed to be attracted by her. Within a few days Trey and Dallas were dating and texting like a new couple. At the same time Trey had to deal with a new gang who came to town. When people attacked her place he was in full protecting mode. He took care of her and her family. They were moving so fast but they didn't question it, they just went with the flow. But then Trey fucked up and someone took Dallas. He was pissed at those idiots who took her, but his smart girl was able to contact with him and he found her soon. Then he planed his revenge with his club brothers.Once they solved their problems their life became so much better.
The most romantic biker book i have ever read. Such a beautiful story. I mean there is the common dirty talk, beating and killing part as every other biker series but this has so much love in it. Very good description, loved all the characters. I liked how it showed the club loyalty and how they took care of each other. The funniest part was the scene with the stripper. One of the best scenes for me was how Dallas claimed her man inside the clubhouse.Dallas was a tomboy, working as a plumber and taking care of her family, she didn't have any social life. Trey was the Prez of the Hellions, he lived his life as a true Hellion but that was until he met her. It was love at first sight, the one that lasts.
My favourite lines:
1)After stroking the latex on, Trey wasted no time in rolling onto his guest. "You wanna start slow
or are you ready for how I want to give it to you?"
He saw the overly made up face scrunch as the woman breathed, "man, you don't waste time do
you? Whatever happened to foreplay?"
Trey reached between them to shove two fingers into the juncture between her legs. "You're wet.
I'm hard. Why the fuck bother?"
2) I was going to be having dinner and sharing a movie with the latest king of the royal
bad-ass bikers in our neck of the woods
3)"Just to let you know. Not used to shutting shit down when
things get hot. And you generate a fucking fire that throbs inside me, Dallas,"
4) "He wants to know if you're all right."
"Tell him I will be as soon as he gets his goddamn ass down here!"
5)Ah, the bouncer wanted Trey to play like he was a cop. Shit, Trey would play like he was Darth Vader if it got him to his Dallas.
