It started with a one-night stand…
Within just a few hours of meeting, Silo Kettering and Shelly Palmer were in bed together. It was a special night, an amazing evening of shared passion between the socialite and the Hellion biker. But it was supposed to have been just an enjoyable one-off since Shelly had to get back to Albuquerque and extradite both herself and her sister, Lulu, from the mess their father had made.
And a promise to call if help was needed.
Silo had made Shelly vow to call him if she encountered any trouble, never realizing that just ten short months later, his would be the only phone number she remembered when she was hurt and broken. But it’s hard, if not impossible, to help and provide safety when you have no idea who or what you’re fighting besides your own heart and feelings. And as Silo discovers, the only thing preventing him from falling head over heels is the little spit-fire’s opinion of both him and herself.
My opinion:
Silo was one of the two single Hellion council members. He wanted to find a woman who he could call his own. One day he got a call from a woman he had met long time ago, she needed his help. That woman was Lulu's sister,Shelly. He went to her, she was very bad shape and very sick.Silo brought her home and was taking a good care of her. One day she had a visit by the FBI agent who had her father's case, he acted weird. The days were passing, she was getting better, Shelly was happy with Silo but she had a creeper watching her and she knew nothing about it. The agent wanted something from her and he wouldn't stop until he got what he wanted.The Hellions were opening their new chapter and Silo moved there with Shelly. He loved her and he showed it but she was holding back. Shelly was changing her mind about the long term relationship with Silo, she did love him. After a few days he asked her about who was coming after her and why but she had no clue, she remembered only a tiny detail which helped him find out who hurt her. Moore scared Shelly, they complained to his superior and now he was without a job and no money. Another MC were attacking the Hellion members and their families. At a gun fire Silo got shot but Shelly sort of saved his life. That was the moment that she knew what she felt for him was real and strong, she was ready to be with him for the long ride.
It was an interesting story. Shelly is a girl who was used to be rich and well known and now she had to hide and do things she had never done before.
She wasn't very happy about it, but she had Silo's support and love. Silo was a man who was used to sleep with another girl every night but it felt right for him to be with Shelly. I was very surprised by what she did in the end, brave little girl.
