Throb (Life on Stage #1) by Vi Keeland

                                                                    Description:
The rules:

No dating.
No sex outside of the game.
No disclosing the terms of the contract.

Rules were made to be broken, right?

Eight weeks ago I signed a contract. One that seemed like a good idea at the time. A handsome bachelor, luxury accommodations, and a chance to win a prize my family desperately needed. There were some rules though. Lots of them actually. Follow the script, no dating, sex, or disclosing the terms of the deal. After my self-imposed moratorium on men the last year, it wouldn’t be hard to live up to my end of the bargain…so I thought. Until I realized the deal I’d made was with the devil…and I was in love with his dirty-talking brother.

                                                            My opinion:
Cooper had taken his father's company after he died, he was doing a good job, the company was one of the best in Hollywood. His brother, who made his own company wasn't very successful. One night at a poker game Cooper met a beautiful young woman,Kate.
His brother brought him to see a few episodes from his new tv reality, there he saw Kate again and he was so annoyed. He asked her on a date but she had to turn him down because of her contract. Cooper wasn't going to give up though, she was the first woman who stirred something inside him. He had her but needed more, the fact that the reality was creating problems with his new relationship was driving him crazy. Cooper couldn't stand the thought that another man would be touching her even though he knew why she was doing it. Miles found out about Cooper and Kate, he knew that this would ruin his show so he had to make this stop. They broke up, they were both miserable for months until one day someone find out the truth and helped them be together again.

It's a very sweet and romantic story about a girl with family problems and a successful businessman. Kate was the girl next door type of woman, kind, beautiful and funny. She loved her brother and mother and she would sacrifice anything to help them. Cooper was a very busy man, he only cared about his company until the day he met her. It was like love at first sight, but it was also so complicated and difficult for them to be together. Which i think that this was one of the things that keeps you interested in this book, the struggle and lust.
