My opinion:
Noa is a writer, she went to her friend's wedding and then stayed for a couple days. Her friend wanted to go to a Friction concert and she went with her because she didn't want her to go alone. Noa didn't like the band very much and couldn't wait the time to go home. But instead of going home she was trampled to death by Friction fans. When she woke up, she was so pissed at the lead singer, Alden, since she thought it was his fault that his fans stomped on her. The next day she was flying home, in the airport she saw Alden again, he was trying to take care of her and that made her more angry with him. Alden was very intrigued with her, he wanted to get to know her better. So he made a deal with her, he wouldn't try to have sex with her if she accepted him as a friend. She agreed. They spend a lot of time together the next few days and she realised that he wasn't just a cocky arrogant singer. Then he asked her to accompany him in a few galas, she knew it would be a bad idea because she was starting to like him, but it was hard to say no to him. Everything were fine at first but their sexual tension were starting to mess with their heads, especially Alden's. That's when they took their friendship in a different level. Along with all the good and frustrating things that were happening to Noa, a person from her past decided to make an appearance and that terrified her. That person was stalking her and she didn't know how to handle it. Alden figured out that something was wrong with her and made her talk. He was furious with her keeping this secret but then he tried to keep her safe. In the end, the girl who wasn't rock star girlfriend material and the sworn single rock star were finally in love and happy.
A beautiful rockstar novel. A very sexy and funny story with the occasional tiny dramatic moments. The characters are great and fan. Noa was a best selling author who had a rough childhood. Her adult life wasn't much better. She had a boyfriend who first saved her from herself and then abused her. She never understood how pretty she was and since she did everything on her own from a young age she hated being dependent on others. Alden was a rockstar who also didn't have the best childhood. He was cocky and arrogant most of the time but he also was a person with a big heart who loved to help kids. He was very fun and had no mouth filter most of the time. Their sexual tension was unbelievable.When they first met what neither of them expected was that they would fall in love with each other so fast. It scared them because none of them were looking for a life partner plus it would be their first real relationship.
