Roth and Kyrie were hiding from Vitaly after she killed his daughter, with them was her best friend Layla. While Roth and Harris were planning on how to deal with Vitaly, Kyrie and Layla had a very important conversation about Layla's feelings and her past. There was alot of tension on that trip but Roth and Ky were happy about their upcoming wedding. Their happiness didn't last long since Layla was abducted by their enemy's goons. Harris vowed to find her and bring her back. Layla being the badass chick not only remain calmed during her abduction but she fought them, found a way to escape and hide until Nick found her. While they were running away from them they got very close and admitted their true feelings, which scared her to death. They killed all the men they were after them and were ready to go back when Vitaly found them and started shooting. Nick was down, Layla was afraid for him and Vitaly was gone again. Thankfully this nightmare ended soon and both couples had their happily ever after.
Half of this book is about Roth and Kyrie and the other half about Layla and Nick. There is alot of sex, shooting and running.
Love and action at the same time. It was pretty cool to see Layla act like Lara Croft. We see the hidden side of Nick and we get to know Layla a bit more. Unfortunately there is no action from the first couple. But all in all is a nice story.
