My opinion:
If you can's escape your past, embrace it.
It was time for Fawn to decide if she was going to accept to be the Prince's secret lover. It was a very difficult decision, until the moment she realised that he eased her pain and stopped the bad thoughts. Of course little innocent and curious fawn wondered why she couldn't be his girlfriend. Reid had no other choice but answering and he did by telling her a very painful story from his past. Her time with Reid was scary, exciting and full of pleasure. She was having the best time of her life with him until Davos made his move. Reid knew it was time to leave her, she knew it too and tried to avoid it, with no success. Reid tried to convince her to forget him but that was impossible for her. She loved him too damn much and she proved it when Davos hit again, for the last time. Everything and everyone changed after that horrible incident. It was too late when Reid realised how much he loved Fawn but that didn't stop him from doing everything he could to find her and make her his, officially this time.
Bring tissues, lots of happy and sad tears.
The perfect end for an amazing book. It had many happy moments, a few painful and one gut-wrenching scene. Fawn from the innocent quiet girl transformed to the most strong female character of the whole series. The power of her love decreased her awful physical pain. Reid managed to make her whole, break her and make her whole again but much more happy this time. Fawn was the only person in his life who from the first moment reached the part of him that no one had before. One of my favorite moments was when Reid blushed, it was adorable. I can't wait for Alyx and Nathan's story...
