My opinion:
Nila felt betrayed by what Jethro did with the messages but after some thought, she realised that this was the only way he could be honest with her. Of course, she was going to get payback for that. Her plan to seduce him and make him care was backfiring and she didn't like that at all. The moment she felt love for him she found out a secret that made her feel rage and so much hate. Every day that passed there were people or situations that reminded her that she wasn't safe and what her end was going to be. She had to find a way to keep herself alive and sane until she could kill the Hawks. Jethro's disease was destroying him so his sister tried to help by giving him an advice. Both Nila and Jet had feelings they couldn't understand or control, it was time for them to gave in. Cut knew something was wrong with Jethro which was why soon enough he gave him a silent order, make her pay the second debt or die. The second debt was paid but no one expected what would follow the next morning.
I liked it a lot. We learn more about the Weaver and Hawk history, about the second debt. We got to meet Jasmine and saw how much she loved and helped her big brother. Also, the deep love that formed between Nila and Jet, how much they affected each other. Both have changed a lot during these months. It's finally evident who are the bad people and who the genuine ones.
There are some heartbroken moments, some very erotic scenes and just like the previous book, there aren't many dark ones. The story gets better and better.
