I have done so many wrongs in this life, and yet this woman has forgiven me. She’s done something I never thought possible—she has learned to understand me, and she hasn’t run. She’s amazed me. She’s saved me. She’s fallen in love with me.
If it’s within my power, I’m about to do the same for her.
My opinion:
Both Sloane and Zeth were trying to understand each other but they often failed at it. They could communicate with their bodies very well, but with words... not so much. When Sloane needed her best friend, she ended up betraying her. And that's how a new round of chasing started, only this time there were more people added to it. There wasn't any time of peace for them, only running, hiding and fighting. The only good thing that happened was that Zeth finally accepted his feelings for Sloane.
It amazes me how much the characters have changed throughout these books. Some grew stronger, others let their feelings come out. It became more obvious who are bad and who are the good ones. Some secrets that have been revealed torn some people apart while other brought them closer. Last but not least the erotic scenes are connected with emotions, they aren't only for the physical pleasure.
