My opinion:
ARC Review
The Cherry Crush Flower Shop by Harper Graham is the third book in the Maple Falls series, and it delivers a heartfelt, feel-good romance wrapped in small-town charm.
Zoe Hart returns to Maple Falls after the end of her last relationship and takes over her mother’s flower shop when her mom falls ill. Flowers aren’t just her livelihood. They’re her passion. Alongside her best friend, Jackson Hawthorne, she dreams up the Local Bloom Project, an initiative designed to educate young people while supporting veterans. But turning that dream into reality requires funding, and complications soon start to bloom.
Things get even more tangled when Zoe’s mom catches Zoe and Jackson in a simple hug and immediately assumes they’re dating. Convinced they’re the perfect match, she bets her vacation money on them becoming the Spring Fling Couple of the Year. Determined not to let her mom lose her savings, and already deeply caring for Zoe, Jackson agrees to fake date her. What begins as a harmless arrangement slowly grows into something much more real. But can they turn years of friendship into true love?
This was such a beautiful romance. Lighthearted and occasionally comedic, yet it gently touches on more serious themes. The dual POV keeps the story engaging, while the vivid descriptions make Maple Falls feel like a place you could wander into yourself. The small-town atmosphere is strong, warm, and refreshingly drama-free. Everyone feels connected and genuinely caring.
The mythical flowers add a subtle layer of magic to the story, and the chemistry between Zoe and Jackson is natural and sweet. They support one another in meaningful ways, and watching their relationship grow was incredibly satisfying. My favorite moments were when they discovered the flowers. Pure joy and wonder on the page.
If you love cozy, feel-good romances with small-town vibes, friends-to-lovers energy, and a touch of magic, this book is definitely for you 🌷
