Review: Perfectly Yours by Sarah Neeson

 Description:
Hemlock Point was supposed to be Kaylee's refuge—a place to escape her controlling mother, lose herself in the stacks of her library, and finally move past the heartbreak she can't shake.

Until her ex walks through the library doors.

Jason claims he's just there to write a book. But the longer he stays, the more Kaylee suspects he's returned for another reason winning her back.

My opinion:

ARC Review

Perfectly Yours by Sarah Neeson is part of the Love Is in the Building series.

After completing her master's degree, Kaylee moves to Hemlock Point to take a position as the town's head librarian. She loves her new life, has built strong friendships, and finally feels like she belongs in the close-knit community. Everything is going well until her ex-boyfriend, Jason, arrives in town.

Jason has been commissioned to write a book about Hemlock Point, and coming back means facing Kaylee for the first time in four years. Their relationship ended because their dreams pulled them in different directions. Jason wanted a life filled with travel, while Kaylee preferred putting down roots. Now that fate has brought them together again, old feelings quickly resurface. But can Jason truly settle down in a small town this time?

This is a charming second-chance romance set in a cozy small-town community. The storyline is simple, easy to follow, and focuses primarily on the rekindled relationship between Jason and Kaylee. I loved the welcoming atmosphere of Hemlock Point and the strong sense of community throughout the story. Kaylee's friends were wonderful, adding warmth and humor to the book.

One of my favorite scenes was when her friends "interrogated" her after she spent the night with Jason. It was both hilarious and entertaining. Jason and Kaylee had great chemistry, and their reconciliation felt natural and believable.

If you enjoy cozy small-town romances with second-chance love stories, this book may be a great fit for you.
