Description:
Viral trends can ruin lives. Especially when your best friend decides to follow one and kidnap a biker.Noah likes his routine. He is not looking for chaos, and he is definitely not looking to fall in love. Especially not with his stalker.
Leo doesn't fall for sweet guys. He likes the bad boys who provide a challenge, and Noah is definitely too sweet for him. But when his friend's reckless plan to pursue Rachel spirals out of control, Leo finds himself seeing more of Noah. And now he is obsessed.
My opinion:
ARC Review
How to Not Fall for a Stalker is the second book in Anna Ioannidi’s Certified Poor Decisions series, and it delivers exactly what fans of dark, funny romance are looking for: chaotic chemistry, emotional depth, and plenty of spice.
If you’ve read the first book, you already know Noah and Leo and understand why readers were excited for their story. If you haven’t, I highly recommend starting there first, because the series works best when you already know the wonderfully unhinged friend group that brings these characters together.
Noah and Leo meet through their equally chaotic friends, and the attraction between them is instant. Leo’s “light stalking” tendencies somehow become oddly charming in the context of Noah’s obsession with dark and spicy romance books, making them feel like a perfectly mismatched match made in heaven. Their relationship develops gradually and naturally, moving from reluctant friends to lovers and finally to an official couple.
What surprised me most was the emotional weight beneath the humor. Leo’s past trauma and insecurities add depth to the story, and I loved the way Noah supports him without trying to “fix” him or expect anything in return. That quiet, steady care made their connection feel genuine.
Leo’s inner monologues were easily my favorite part of the book. They’re hilarious, self-aware, and sometimes painfully vulnerable. One scene that especially stayed with me was the nighttime driveway scene.
If you enjoy dark rom-coms with obsessive energy, witty banter, emotional healing, and a slow-burn romance, How to Not Fall for a Stalker is definitely worth adding to your TBR.
