                                                                Description:
Smut sells.

Michael Rourke learned this the hard way.

Struggling to make ends meet as a mystery writer, he sold his soul - and his pride - as he pedaled sex and lust writing under the pen name Christoph Strong.

No one knew he was the one behind the steamy stories on the bestsellers lists. And he planned to keep it that way.

Until he met her.

Monica Singer, an infamous blogger, is keen to discover the truth of his secret identity.

During a chance meeting at a book convention, Michael and Monica form an instant connection. And soon, an industry rivalry becomes something else entirely.

But as Michael starts to let his guard down, he doesn’t realize that the person he's learning to trust may be hiding secrets of her own.

Secrets that could ultimately destroy everything.

                                                          My opinion:
Michael liked to write mystery novels but those books didn't go so well so he had to write another genre if he wanted to pay his bills. He wrote a few that made him enough money but he wrote them under a different name. Now he was famous and wouldn't allow to anyone to know that he was Cristoph Strong. One photo of him leaked and everything changed.Michael was panicking but his agent was very excited that his sales were now doubled. He attented a book convention
in Houston and there he met the one blogger he despised the most,Monica. The hotel's mistake brought them in the same room, that's where they started to get to know each other a little better. Monica felt that Christoph was familiar to her, she was determined to find out how. She was smitten by him and craved a night with him. They slept together, she fell for him and then he disappeared. Funny thing is that Michael thought the same about Monica, that she left him. From something that she told him he knew that she wasn't the real Monica, but he could never have guessed who she really was.She was so scared of what would happen when he would find out the truth so the next time they met she left him. For a while Michael let his pride step in but eventually he realised how much
she meant to him.Their reunion was what exactly fits in two romance authors...

It's a nice and sweet romance novel. There are a few love scenes. The plot is quite nice not very exciting though. Michael was an author who loved to write mysteries but was an expert on writing romance, even if he didn't really like it. I have to say that i liked his character more after he was known to the public. Now for Monica or Lauren or... she was a nice character, abit troubled,we don't have many information about her but we know that she loves Michael. I was surprised when i found out who she really was, i was expecting this. My favourite part of the book is the last chapter and the epilogue.
