My opinion:
Faye Devere and Andrew Morgan were the owners of the club Explicit. They built it together but then she disappeared. After three years she came back to find out that it had changed a lot and that Andrew was furious with her. But Faye went there to stay and contribute to the club, she had new ideas. They were trying to find a way to work out their issues when Andrew found out the reason she came back. He was not happy with it. Faye had run away from a person she loved (for one more time), but this time that person wasn't keen on letting her escape so easily. Andrew believed that business and pleasure didn't mix well, but having her so close with so much pent up anger and lust made him change his mind. He made up some ground rules so this could work between them without destroying anything. They fought a lot and sometimes that ended with angry sick fucking. Things between them were never easy, there was not a moment of peace. After much pushing from her part and enough backing down from his, they eventually admitted their feelings and moved on.
I liked the previous three books but I am disappointed with this one. The storyline is plain and the main characters were indifferent and annoying. Andrew was a control freak dominant, it was quite obvious from the beginning and it didn't change. Faye was a drama queen, she wanted everything and that was it. The creepy part was that she sounded exactly like the crazy writer Vincent. They had a fucked-up sexual dynamic. Apart from that, the book is mainly focused on the most filthy depraved BDSM sex scenes. I felt like the love story came second this time. For me, this is a two-star story because of the vivid scenes and the good dialogues.
