Angel's Halo : Reclaimed (Angel's Halo MC #4) by Terri Anne Browning

                                                               Description:
Felicity Bolton finally feels like she has moved on with her life. She misses her friends and family back in Creswell Springs, but now she has new friends—a new family. She has found the peace that she lost the night she lost her unborn child. She would do anything to protect her newfound family, even if that meant facing the devil himself.

The minute Jet Hannigan walks back into her life that’s exactly what she has to do.

Jet Hannigan is officially a free man. With his parole lifted he can finally do what he's been aching to do, go after the only woman who will ever own his heart. He's known where she is for months and has been impatiently waiting for the day he could reclaim her. What he wasn't excepting was to have to pull out the big guns and blackmail her into returning to Creswell Springs with him. With everything going on with Flick's boss, and the media circus surrounding the chaos, Jet thought the safest place for her was home where he and his brothers could protect her.

                                                          My opinion:
The story begins years ago when Flick was pregnant with Jet's kid. Then continues  years later where Flick lives with the band and things were crazy with Mia's abduction and Gabriella being in the hospital. Jet's probation was ending and he was preparing to go get Flick back. When Flick refused to go with him he used the only thing he had to bring her back, the hit she put on that man. She was furious but went back with him, most of the people there welcomed her except Hawk. She was only one day there and one disaster came after the other, first a few packages from the Italians, then Gracie found out  the truth for her tuition, last but not least Gracie was kidnapped and Hawk got shot. But nothing could have stopped him from getting her back. There were a lot of shooting and dying, but in the end, everyone was living happily in this big biker family.

Nice story with love and action. I felt like something was missing. We know who the two main characters are but we don't know much about their relationship, we know how it ended but not how it started or how beautiful or bad was it. The action parts and the parts about Hawk and Gracie were good, but i wanted something more from the main couple. Most of the time they were miserable. Their happiness came at the very end.

Progress (Progress #1) by Amalie Silver

                                                               Description:
Jesse

I admit, I didn’t think much of Charlie at first. She was rounder than the girls who usually caught my eye. Not my type. But when I saw her sitting in that booth alone, for the first time something in my mind or my instincts or my heart told me to join her.

She defied me.
She challenged me.
She gave me hope.
Before I knew it, moving forward was my only option.

Charlie

I couldn’t tell you when it happened, but it had to have been a gradual change; I never moved too quickly.

If someone would have told me earlier that year what I was going to go through, I wouldn't have believed them.

Jesse was so different from anyone I’d met before. And everyone I’ve met since. He sucked all the life out of me, in the best—and worst—ways.

We don’t get strong overnight. For most of us it takes time. Strength isn’t measured by how high and fast our walls go up, but how easily we can watch them fall.

                                                             My opinion:
Charlie was a plus size girl and was working as a hostess in a restaurant. One day there she met one of her co-workers, Jesse. It was the first time in her life she felt so smitten by a man.  Charlie has been bullied her whole life about the way she looked, so when the mysterious Jesse asked her out she was very skeptical. The date was a disaster, he was throwing one insult after the other. Even though he was so mean to her she still couldn't stay away from him, there was something in him that intrigued her. One of his comments made her start losing weight. This whole situation started to messing with her head, so she went a little trip with her friends. Jesse went there to apologise and thank her for everything she had done for him. She felt good with him when he was acting nice. Jesse soon realised that he needed to be close to her, she made him feel better, he even started changing because of her. He was trying so hard to fight his illness. He admired her for all her goodness and the love she had for everyone. After almost six months he was finally ready to talk to her, tell her about his feelings but it was too late. She was moving on. It's been a year, his love for her grew so much he couldn't stay away from her anymore. But in this year Charlie changed more than he had, she finally was at the point where she loved and wanted the best for herself. Too bad he wasn't ready to give her what she needed.

Are you really this much of a prick, or am I just lucky?

One of the most emotionally intense stories i have ever read. Two young people with different problems but with almost the same results. Jesse is bipolar, because of that he can't have a normal relationship or even friendship and couldn't even keep a job for a long time. Charlie was an overweight girl since she was young and was bullied her whole life. That made her very introvert and couldn't go out and enjoy herself. They had a weird connection from the very early days but they didn't understand why. Both had positive influence to each other. The story is concentrated on the two main characters, their problems and on their journey to change their life.

Once upon a time ( A Broken Fairy Tale #1) by S.K. Hartley

                                                                 Description:
I don't believe in fairy tales.
I don't believe in glass slippers.
I don't believe in Prince-Freaking-Charming.

Cinderella can kiss my ass.

I kiss frogs, sometimes even toads.
I've given up on meeting Mr. Right, instead it seems all I meet is Mr. Wrong, Mr. Very-Wrong and even, Mr. Lets-Not-Even-Go-There.

Fairy tales are for morons.

Well, that's what I thought until Gabriel Black barged through my life, turning everything upside down.
He's hot, sexy and little rough around the edges.
But, he's hiding something, something deep. I can feel it, taste it and smell it.

Now I'm left wondering if he's my Prince Charming or my fairy tale villain.
Will I ride away safely into the night, dreaming of happily ever afters?
Or, will I stumble and fall in ridiculously high heels only meant for women with a death wish?

Once Upon A Time...
I met Gabriel Black.

                                                       My opinion:
Payton was a girl who didn't believe in fairytales anymore. Especially not about the princess who finds her prince charming. And that was because she had been betrayed and also stuck with kissing frogs. Payton was working as a PR assistant, one day her boss assigned her to a client, she was excited and scared since she had no experience. Her friends took her out to celebrate, that's when she met Mr Tall Dark and Dangerous. He gave her a very intense orgasm but refused to give his name. No matter how good that was, he was a complete ass and she hoped she wouldn't see him again. She wasn't that lucky. The client, Mr Black, was Mr Tall Dark and Dangerous. Payton did a great job, he signed to Blue Stone PR. Now she had to stay away from him if she wanted to keep her job. Again no luck. Mr Black asked for her to do the job. Payton tried to keep it professional but he wasn't giving up, neither her best friends. He slowly showed her how much he cared for her and that the fairy tales existed. Payton and Gabriel didn't have them happily ever after, they just started writing one chapter after the other in their beautiful fairytale.

A modern day fairytale with a stubborn and previously hurt princess and a persistent prince.I loved every part of this book. It's sweet, funny and so damn hot. The characters are so funny and so different from each other. It has a sex scene that will melt your panties. Gabriel is a very private person, who always gets what he wants and never apologises. Payton was a girl who grew up very poor and wanted to make her dream come true while helping her family and friends. The way he proposed was so romantic.

My favorite lines:
1)“I turned you from frumpy Smurf to hot-as-hell-drop-down-your-boxers-and-screw-me Smurfette.”

2)WARNING: This voice turns women stupid.

3)“Did you really just fall?” He chuckled deeply within his throat and offered his hand. I took it and was quickly pulled to my feet.

“No,” I said, wiping off the back of my dress and whatever dignity I had left, “I just attacked the floor.” I shrugged, peering up through my lashes.

Under Locke by Mariana Zapata

                                                                 Description:
He was my boss, my brother’s friend, a Widower, an ex-felon, and a man I’d seen casually with a handful of women. But he was everything that gripped me, both the good and the bad. Worst case scenario if things turned awkward between us, I could go somewhere else. I’d gotten over epic heartbreak before, one more wouldn’t kill me.

After moving to Austin following six months of unemployment back home, Iris Taylor knows she should be glad to have landed a job so quickly... even if the business is owned by a member of the same motorcycle club her estranged father used to belong to. Except Dex Locke might just be the biggest jerk she’s ever met. He’s rude, impatient and doesn’t know how to tell time.

And the last thing they ever expected was each other.

But it was either the strip club or the tattoo shop.

… she should have chosen the strip club.

                                                             My opinion:
Iris moved to Austin to live with her half-brother, Sonny. He found her a job in his friend's, Dex Locke, tattoo parlor, Pins and Needles. Her first day there wasn't very productive since she was drooling over him and was afraid to ask questions to the sexy big bad biker. Dex was impatient and very rude to her and that was hurting her feelings, but she wasn't going to leave, she needed the money. While the days were passing Dex was being nicer to her which weird her out, since she didn't know why. After a month, Dex was a totally different person, very nice and funny with only a few temper tantrums. When her dad's debts caused problems to her and her brother, Dex was there to help and protect her. The fact that they currently were living and working together brought them closer, which led to revealing their feelings. Their road had a lot of bumps but they managed to wipe out their problems and live a good life as a big happy family.

I loved it, not your average biker novel. All the characters are like people next door. There's the brooding guy (Dex), who is usually angry and rude but if you get to know him he's good and loyal. Then we have the good girl/silent force (Iris), she is nice, kind and shy. She hates loud arguments and she likes to help. The rest of the characters kinda look like good people and funny. But in the end, we have the dumb one (Curt Taylor), the example of the bad parent who cares about himself and ruins everything in his life. I liked Iris a lot and her quirks, she was kind even when she insulted the others. My favourite scene was the Nothern wind I cried from laughing so hard. What i loved in this book is that it describes moments that most of us have lived and people and that we met through our life.

Prince Albert ( A Step Brother Romance #4) by Sabrina Paige

                                                               Description:
Prince Albert is a royal prick.

He’s the most famous one on the planet – wealthy, gorgeous, and a notorious playboy. He’s also the most conceited, insufferable, arrogant man I’ve ever met.

Did I mention he’s a freaking prince? An actual, real life Prince Not-So-Charming.

He’s tattooed and pierced, too. Prince Albert has a Prince Albert piercing. That's right – he's pierced you-know-where. Allegedly. I’ve never seen it.

My mother is marrying a king. Being a princess is every girl’s fantasy, right?

Except that means Albie is my new stepbrother.

Oh, and one more thing -- I accidentally married him.

We’re keeping the biggest secret on the planet.

Ever heard the fairy tale about the Princess and her stepbrother?

Yeah, I didn’t think so.

I’m royally screwed.

                                                              My review:
Belle's mother was going to marry a king, so she was going to be a princess. But she had a secret who could destroy that marriage and she was terrified. You see Belle and her new step-brother got married in Vegas a couple weeks ago and none of them took an annulment. Albert was enjoying the whole thing while Belle was hoping that this wouldn't be exposed by anyone. Albie's current enjoyment was to give Belle hell. He liked that she was able to talk back to him and she didn't care about his status. A few days later they started playing a very "dangerous" but fun game. Somehow they managed to "forget" how wrong it was to be involved with each other and with every chance they got they sneak out to enjoy themselves. After a month, someone leaked the information about their affair on the press. In the end, both Belle and Albert had to decide if they loved each other enough to face this situation together and then move forward.

It's like a sweet fairytale with lots of adult fun. Belle was a good girl who loved to do charity work. She was intelligent, fun, caring. Albie was a cocky prince, womanizer and the press loved him for all the wrong reasons. That was until he met her, then he showed how nice and fun he could be when he wanted. It's a very entertaining book, not only because of the intimate scenes between the two main characters but also about the funny scenes where they give hell to each other.

Big Rock by Lauren Blakely

                                                               Description:
It's not just the motion of the ocean, ladies. It's definitely the SIZE of the boat too.

And I've got both firing on all cylinders. In fact, I have ALL the right assets. Looks, brains, my own money, and a big cock.

You might think I'm an asshole. I sound like one, don’t I? I'm hot as sin, rich as heaven, smart as hell and hung like a horse.

Guess what? You haven't heard my story before. Sure, I might be a playboy, like the NY gossip rags call me. But I’m the playboy who’s actually a great guy. Which makes me one of a kind.

The only trouble is, my dad needs me to cool it for a bit. With conservative investors in town wanting to buy his flagship Fifth Avenue jewelry store, he needs me not only to zip it up, but to look the part of the committed guy. Fine. I can do this for Dad. After all, I’ve got him to thank for the family jewels. So I ask my best friend and business partner to be my fiancée for the next week. Charlotte’s up for it. She has her own reasons for saying yes to wearing this big rock.

And pretty soon all this playing pretend in public leads to no pretending whatsoever in the bedroom, because she just can’t fake the kind of toe-curling, window-shattering orgasmic cries she makes as I take her to new heights between the sheets.

But I can’t seem to fake that I might be feeling something real for her.

What the fuck have I gotten myself into with this…big rock?

                                                              My opinion:
Charlotte and  Spencer were very good friends and business partners, who years ago made a pact: they would pretend to be a fake couple if any of them needed it. Spencer's dad had found a buyer for his business and he needed his two children to act like they belonged to the perfect family. They just needed to keep Mr Offerman happy so when Spencer noticed that he was happy with the idea that he was in a relationship he took it a bit further and said he was engaged. Later he had to convince his best friend to play the happy fiance part. She was doubtful at first but then she agreed, since it worked for her as well. She started making little quizzes just to see if they knew each other well for this role. From the first time, it turned out to be a torture for Spencer since he was constantly turned on by her. Soon enough they upped the game by adding sex to it, they were having the benefits from being engaged but only for this week then it was back to normal. After only a few days, their fake fall in love story became a reality for both of them. Spencer with his dad's help decided to tell her about his feelings, with a very romantic way and he hoped that she felt the same for him.

It is the most, sweet, funny romantic story i have ever read. Spencer is a playboy, great businessman and the best friend every woman would want. Charlotte is a very nice girl, smart, funny, caring. I loved how their fake story gradually became a real one. It has really steamy love scenes, Spencer "torture" scenes were so much fun. This book works fine for your lonely nights or if you'd like to smile.

 My favorite lines:
1)Forget the flames. I am a fucking inferno right now knowing she owns this too. White panties that reveal pretty much everything.
  Lord have mercy.
If a woman I was dating wore those panties, they wouldn’t be on her. They’d be in my teeth as I pulled them off. I can’t do anything but stare at her lingerie as my blood heats to surface-of-Mercury levels.

2)Charlotte tilts her head and shoots me an expectant look. “Which one do you prefer your fiance in?”
I haven’t answered her yet. I’m just trying to get the blood flowing from other parts of my anatomy back to my brain.

3)And now, ladies and gentlemen, my cock is officially saluting my best friend, the Commando Temptress.

4)It’ll feel better than anything you’ve ever had. Unzip my pants, wrap your hands around my cock, and let me take you for the ride of your life. You’ll see stars, mountains will move, and the earth will shake.

Fair Game (The Rules #1) by Monica Murphy

                                                                Description:
Bad enough Jade Frost’s boyfriend drags her to a boring poker game. Even worse that he actually threw her into the betting pot during an intense round…and lost. Talk about the perfect excuse for Jade to make him her ex-boyfriend.

Now she supposedly belongs to the ultra rich, extremely gorgeous Shep Prescott. He could have anything he wants yet he seems to be in hot pursuit of her. No matter how rude, how snarky, how impossible she acts, it doesn’t stop him. More like her horrible behavior seems to make him want her more.

When she finds herself starting to fall for him, Jade’s confused. There’s more to Shep than the carefree rich charmer he portrays. No way could he want a serious relationship with her…or could he?

                                                           My opinion:
Kelli was a college student. One night she and her friend were dragged by their boyfriends to a poker game. The host of the game was Shep, a very rich, handsome and arrogant man. Jade hated him but Shep was intrigued by her and her smart mouth. So to make things interesting he made an offer to her boyfriend, to bet her since he didn't have any more money left. Joel lost, Shep won and Jade was furious. Every time he saw her he tried to collect the debt but she wasn't giving in. He managed to take her to a couple dates and kiss her. For the first time, Shep felt something for a girl. They were having a great time until he fucked up, big time. She was hurt and decided to make him pay for what he did.He didn't give up on her, he chased after her until she accepted him back and made her the happiest girl on earth.

Such a romantic story about two college students from different worlds and so different characters. Shep was rich, arrogant, commitment-phobe and playboy, she was a smart mouth, self-conscious, relationship type kinda girl. She hated him and wanted him at the same time. He wanted her but he was afraid of these new feelings. They grew through this relationship, she became more confident and sexual active he became more happy and relaxed.

One Wish in Manahttan by Mandy Baggot

                                                                 Description:
It’s the most wonderful time of the year… to fall in love

The temperature is dropping, snow is on its way and Hayley Walker is heading for New York with one wish on her mind…to start over.

With her nine year-old daughter Angel, Hayley is ready for an adventure. From hot chocolates and horse-drawn carriage rides in Central Park, to ice-skating at the Rockefeller Centre, and Christmas shopping on 5th Avenue – they soon fall in love with the city that never sleeps.

But there’s more to New York than the bright twinkly lights and breathtaking skyscrapers. Angel has a Christmas wish of her own – to find her real dad.

While Hayley tries to fufil her daughter’s wish, she crosses paths with Billionaire Oliver Drummond. Restless and bored with fast living, there’s something intriguing about him that has Hayley hooked.

Determined to make her daughter’s dream come true, can Hayley dare to think her own dreams might turn into reality – could A New York Christmas turn into a New York Forever?

Travel to the Big Apple this Christmas and join Hayley and Oliver as they both realise that life isn’t just about filling the minutes…it’s about making every moment count.

                                                               My opinion:
Two very different emotional and funny stories that in the end became a happy one. First we have Hayley, a single mother with a very smart 9-year-old girl, who gave up her dreams to take care of her child. One night she heard her daughter's wish and vouched to make it come true. Which is the reason they get to spend their Christmas on New York. Their first day there Hayley met a very handsome billionaire, Oliver, with a very unorthodox way. Oliver thought that his family was cursed and that he was going to die. That made him miserable, he was having one night stand with women and he made one of their wishes come true. They liked each other from the very first time. He tried to treat her like every other woman but he couldn't, she was so special to him. Oliver asked about her wish but he wasn't expecting what she said. While he was trying to figure out what he will do with his life and with her, Hayley was trying to find Angel's dad, also find a job and to see New York's exhibitions. Oliver was consumed by his fears and he blew up his chance with her but he managed to make her wish to come true. Thankfully his love for her made him realise his mistake. In the end, little Angel found her dad, Hayley found a job that she loved and Oliver was finally happy.
